Chapter One

July 13th,2021

Alyssa POV:
I'm at his house. He is playing guitar. "You are good at that." I say looking up from my book. "What book is that? You've been reading it for hours." "My favorite, Romeo and Juliet." I say smiling at him. He smiles back. "That's a classic but it's a tad bit overrated." He starts tuning his guitar. "OVERRATED?! Oh you want to get me started?!" I say at him plopping my book beside and sitting up.

He chuckles then looks back at me. "Woah Woah calm down." "Don't tell me to calm down you just insulted Romeo and Juliet!" I say getting off the bed. He looks at me like I'm crazy and holds in a laugh.

"Don't laugh at me!" I walk to him and push his shoulder. "I didn't" he says still holding a laugh in his throat. Then he laughs so loud. "I hate you." I say while laughing. "You know you love me." He says then stands up and kisses me.

"Do I know that, yes, yes I do." I smile at him. I sit back on the bed and grab the book. He sits beside me. "Read it. Aloud." "Like you want to hear it, lover boy." I say then he gives me puppy eyes. I sigh then begin reading aloud.

After two chapters, he says he wants to read. It's around 9pm. "Okay but don't say a thing wrong." I say slowly handing him the book.

He begins reading. His voice is so calming. After around 10 minutes I drift off into my slumber. All I can hear is "I love you" then I feel a kiss on my head.
