CHAPTER FOURTEEN - TUBA TRIUMPH

𝓣𝚁𝙴𝙽𝚃

"NICE ONE, MAN. HEAD'S UP, ZOEY." Devon called out, passing a football around. I was currently at a park with the team wearing a black button up shirt as Zoey passed it to Nate.

"Nate, over here! I got it. Oh, no, I don't." Steel stated. I went to chase after the football as Ravi quickly shoved a sketchbook into his bag when he saw me coming and pulled out a Grid Battleforce manual.

"Ravi. You wanna come play with us?" I questioned.

"No, thanks. I'm just, uh, brushing up on emergency procedures." Ravi responded, showing me the manual.

"Uh-huh." I said, not really believing him. "Sounds fun. Go long!"

Loud tuba noises were heard as a monster appeared, getting our attention.

Devon threw the football aside. "A Robotron. Where did that come from?" Ravi questioned.

"I don't know, but he's way off-key. It's morphin' time!" Devon responded as our morphers appeared.

"Activate Beast Power!" We all shouted as we morphed.

"Unleash the Beast!"

"My music is gonna blow you away." Tubatron claimed as he began playing loud notes as we all began fighting him.

Roxy then came in, kicking Nate aside. Devon, Zoey, and I were dealing with Tubatron.

"Devon, Z! Ears!" I warned as they covered their ears. I used my supersonic roar to counter Tubatron's loud note, unaware that a device on Tubatron had collected my Beast Power.

Tubatron ended up crashing into Roxy. "Hey!" Tubatron exclaimed.

"Watch it, blowhard." Roxy complained.

Ravi fired at them while they were distracted as they fell to the ground.

"Way to go, Ravi." Zoey complimented.

"This audience doesn't appreciate my musical genius." Tubatron stated.

"Yeah. We're outta here." Roxy added on as the two disappeared.

"No!" Devon called out.

"That Robotron will be back." Ravi pointed out.

"Better get to base." Devon informed.

"Let's go." Zoey agreed.

"What's your plan, Nate?" Commander Shaw asked after we got back to base.

"I'm reprogramming the Gigadrone Detector's audio sensors to detect tuba blasts. Now, if Tubatron shows up and uses its weapon, we'll know when and where instantly." Nate explained.
