"Good morning sir" The receptionist greeted him. After finishing some formalities, Ashwin walked to his floor.
New place, new people, new commitments, everything seemed scary to a introvert like Ashwin. But years of being alone, he learnt to adapt to everything. Even though he was a introvert, he enjoyed LIFE. He's now entering into a new phase of adventure.
He was greeted by few of the staffs and some looked at him cluelessly while others were just minding their job.
He was walking to his cabin while someone dashed on to him. He looked down to see a petite woman standing rubbing her forehead.
"Ammaa..enna adi" she murmured.
He couldn't help but chuckle looking at her cute figure. She was dressed in a simple white top paired along with brown pants and overcoat.
He was admiring her until she looked up with a cute pout. He controlled his urge to pinch her nose.
"Enga pathu varamatingala" she asked
"Nan pathu than nga vanthen nee-" he said and she interrupted,
"Ayo seri sorry. Kaalailaye argument vendam, apram um new joinee ah?"
"Paravala irukatum" he said.
"New joinee ah nu ketten" she asked in a bit of rowdy tone.
He raised an eyebrow and replied, "hm aama"
She now smiled back and lent her hand for a handshake.
"Hii! Sivaangi" she introduced herself.
He smiled and shook her hands.
"Ashwin"
"Ashwin, nice name! Ungala mathriye cute ah iruku ashwineyy" she said chuckling.
He looked at her bemused, and chuckled. "Athu enna ashwineyy?" He couldn't help but ask.
"Athu Ashwin romba bland ah irunthuchu, athan ashwineyy. En nalla illaya?" She asked a bit disappointed.
"Cha nalla iruku, athan ketten" he said honestly.
This made her grin instantly. They were drowning in each other's eyes while Sivaangi saw there hands still together. She blushed and took it back. Just then Ashwin realised and blushed rubbing his nape.
"Hey Ashwin, wel-" the MD came to show Ashwin his cabin while he looked at both Ashwin and Sivaangi standing their awkwardly.
"Oh looks like you've met Ashwin, Ms. Sivaangi" he said looking at them.
"Uh, yes sir" she said looking at him.
"Fine then, Ashwin this is Sivaangi. She's in your team aswell. And Sivaangi, Ashwin will be the new manager of your team. He'll be guiding you with the new project. Sivaangi, show him his cabin please. All the best guys" The MD said and left.
Sivaangi turned to Ashwin with a bewildered expression.
"Ne..new manager?" She asked pointing him to which he nodded.
She huffed, "enga apram new joinee nu poi sonninga"
"New joinee thanga, manager ah" he said smiling to which she glared.
She sighed in disbelief
"Vaanga cabin ah katren" she said and took him to his cabin.
He couldn't believe that it's just been few minutes since he met this girl. He got attached to her quickly than he ever did to any person. Suddenly all he wanted was to stay beside her, know more about her.
He brushed those thoughts away and looked at her. She was busily analysing a file. The way she bit her lip, scrunched her eyebrows while reading, he was admiring it all. After few moments of serious reading, she looked at him with a smile.
