Wow I actually can't believe we've made it this far...

To think we'd be ending the day after my 17th birthday T-T

(I know it's the 22nd today and my birthday's on the 20th, but shh, I meant to finish this then)

This... has been such a wild ride, with a mixture of spam updates and slow updates that took literally 5 months from me because of school or just pure procrastination, this is the first story I've genuinely enjoyed writing and reading...

As well as the only story that I've actually put effort into and actually finished.

Obviously there'll be a sequel, but this is only the beginning of her story :)

To be honest:

I'm absolute shit at planning stuff (probably the ADHD part of me /j) but-

*cough*

I just want to thank you all for being there, supporting me through this story and yelling at me through the comments as to why I did certain things and agreeing with me on other things...

Also if I spell anything "wrong" just note that I'm Australian and spell things "the Australian way", i.e. 'favourite' instead of 'favorite' and 'recognise' instead of 'recognize'-

I guess I'll do a small FAQ of questions I thought of and questions that I've been asked about this story, so...

Q: Where did you get the idea for this story?

At some point, I was rewatching Assassination Classroom (as you do) after I watched BNHA for the first time and a few days later, literally went "I wonder what it would be like if an assassin enrolled into U.A. and trained to become a Hero".

Mind you, this was during Geography-

Q: What or who inspired Rie?

Two main characters: Erza Scarlet (Fairy Tail) and Killua Zoldyck (surprise, surprise...)

Erza was the main inspiration for Assassin (or Knight, as most of the class know it). I always thought summoning weapons and manipulating them would be cool, and as much as I liked her armoury, I didn't really feel that it would be suitable for Rie, and I thought that would be copying Requip a little too much. She was also the main inspiration for parts of Rie's personality (witty, strong, quick-thinking and a leader in most cases), as well as vulnerable (her childhood).

With Killua, I mainly inspired the 'assassination' part of it from him, as well as the familial situation, with him taking the Hunter exam "because he was bored" and Rie claiming to have taken the exam "because there was nothing better to do".

Q: Which arc was your favourite to write, and which was your least favourite?

Out of everything that's been published so far, the Training Camp arc was probably my favourite, but out of everything in total, the Shie Hassaikai arc is probably the one I've had the most fun with experimenting with ideas in (gods I can't wait to publish it)... in terms of my least favourite arc... the first 15 or so chapters were absolute crap to write, I also really didn't want to write the Provisional License Arc purely because I had no clue on what to do... though my updates of the arc in 3 days probably says otherwise-

Q: Why were the characters in Class 3-E from Assassination Classroom and the Zoldyck family from Hunter x Hunter added?

To be honest, I didn't get any ideas to add the Class 3-E students, as well as Irina and Karasuma into the story, until around Chapter 18, which is when I started getting ideas for an Assassination Classroom special (which is Kill Her Facade) and realised how well they would probably fit into the BNHA universe (in this story, at least), considering they're all 'training to assassinate Koro-sensei'.

With the Zoldyck family, again, I didn't get any ideas to add them into the story until I realised that Killua was one of the main inspirations for Rie, their familial situations being somewhat familiar

Q: What was your favourite scene to write and what was your least favourite?

Favourite scene, hands down, probably their break-up scene and when Rie killed Ace-

Also I really liked writing Kirishima finding out about Rie-

Least favourite... again, the first 15 chapters were absolute crap; reading back on them, I feel like I wrote Rie and a few other characters completely OOC, and I wish I could rewrite them, but since I had this as a large and major writing project, I like to see how my writing's progressed over almost two years.

Q: What are some things that you originally planned for the story, but didn't end up publishing?

Oh boy-

- Originally, Bakugo was meant to be the love interest instead of Todoroki... I ended up changing that idea
- One of the girls - probably Jiro? - was going to be the one finding out at the camp instead of Kirishima
- Again, Class 3-E and the Zoldycks weren't originally a part of the plan
- KiriBaku wasn't canon but fuck you all it's canon now
- Jiro wasn't enby but after I realised how much she fucking gave me gender envy I ended up making that canon too-

- Shindo and Rie getting along during the Exam was just a last-minute thing (and me simping over him *cough*) so-

Q: Are you ever going to update/publish Kill Her Facade?

About that-

Yes, I'm planning on doing it, but I figured I might as well finish this story and at least get the sequel somewhat started before I continue, as well as rewatching Assassination Classroom (for the 7th time).
