"Prepare the OR 3 and paged Doctor Pierce"

That's what you hear; chaos. There's no difference between saving lives here in the ER, it's normal for them to fight between death. Charging everything to get the lost soul back to their body.

But today is different. The world-class doctor, a mother is fighting for her life. Her left foot is on the grave.

"OLIVIA!"

A yell from a mother who makes her body as a shield to get all the bullets away from her little kid. A loud bang silence the room accompanied by a cry from the kid. It's music to their ears as what the devil said, it's made their hearts flutter in excitement.

"One more"

A garish sound of gunshot beats again. Still on the mother's body. The little girl only cries, trying to wake up her mama. Bloodstained her shirt and hands, tear falling to her mama's face trying if this can wake her perishing mama like what she watched in the film.

It's not working. Mama slowly lost her breath as she memorizes her daughter's face for one last time.

"Mama?"

"He- help- please- my- mama" the tiny human called, desperate to save her mama from death.

"Please- my- mama"

The rescue came getting the weak body into the gurney, the child didn't let go of her mama's hand, the warmth of her hands slowly fading turning into cold, gloomy hands. The fading of her warmth is like her breath; slowly yet painfully.

Red and blue lights defined the night. Flash of cameras from the reporters trying to get a scope of information.

"Don't do this to me" Scarlett said holding to her lover's hands, crying and begging not to get here away from them, to give her another chance to be with us.
