Studying for exams was never hard for Lisa Manoban. She could have had multiple tests in one day, school projects plus tons of homework that needed to be handed the very next day, long training after school & hanging out with friends, but she'd still manage to have perfect grades, getting praised by her teachers for working hard and being motivated. It was no secret that learning was very easy for her - Give her a few moments to read over the materials a few times and she's all prepared. But this...

She didn't know what made her brain not work right today, maybe it was the annoying ticking of a clock echoing from her kitchen through the apartment, maybe the muffled sound of some Thai movie that just happened to play on her TV at the time, or the unstoppable rain that kept on rumbling on the window sills, but she couldn't, for the love of dancing, concentrate on her English paper. The project wasn't due till Monday, but she thought she'd do her school work now so she could have a free weekend.

And maybe because Jisoo bragged about having her homework done sooner than Lisa, and the younger girl wasn't having it.

Lisa leaned back on her bed frame with a tired sigh, running her hand through her messy hair, not really caring about her bangs being all over the place right after she had done that. Bringing her eyes up from the paper, the girl looked around herself and smiled.

A few months ago, she couldn't wait until she graduated and could finally leave her parents place, get away from her overcaring parents she loved oh so much, yes,  into a place of her own - a nice open apartment close to her college. She shared the apartment with Jisoo since they both needed to get away from their families, they were best friends and their colleges were only 30 mins apart so it worked perfectly.

Their place was pretty wonderful and Lisa was very proud of it. They both had their own room with their very own bathroom, there was a guest room for anyone that might want to stay over, big kitchen (since the older Korean girl refused to live in an apartment that has a small kitchen) and a living room that was big enough for all of their friends whenever they decided to come over for a visit or game & movie night. Lisa was happy she finally had a place to call hers.

Noticing she was distracting herself, she tried to focus on her work again,

She didn't even notice the sudden new noises coming from down the hall, and only when she heard a loud thud and soft, innocent curse did she register someone else was in the apartment. Her lip curled into a knowing smile as she recognized the voice and a few seconds later, heard the soft steps coming towards her bedroom.

'' Well well, who decided to come to my place uninvited?''

She joked, not even looking up from her English paper as she quickly scribbled something in the corner.

'' That stupid chair of yours hurt my toe, Lisa,'' Rosie emerged through Lisas open bedroom door, a pint of chocolate ice cream in her hand, spoon in the other and a sad pout on her face.

Lisas own face softened at the sight of her because even though her girlfriend looked beautiful as always, it was obvious something was bugging her and she looked super tired. Her eyes were watery and she sniffed, moving on to the bed next to her girlfriend. Lisa quickly placed her books and papers on the side of the nightstand, opening her arms for Rosie. The younger girl wrapped her arms around the blonde tightly, bringing her closer and kissing the top of her head lovingly.

She missed her so much.

'' Is that my ice cream?'' She questioned.

'' I had a really bad day and you have the pint of my favorite ice cream flavor.'' The Australian murmured.
