"If he can't stand being without you too long, I'm sure he found another better man to satisfy him," the guard said, opening a door for me. "You know. A man that can fulfill each and every one of his needs or desires round-the-clock instead of waiting for your return."

I narrowed my eyes at the security guard but my smile remained wide and very happy. "Sure, he may be pretending to like another man but I know loves me. And once he sees me, he'll be so happy that he'll leave his fake boyfriend in a second."

The guard looked at me with a half-hooded, unimpressed gaze while shaking his head, and I chuckled as another guard handed me a bag of my clothes to change into. "You're a sad man, Pacon," the guard that led me into the room sighed. "We'll see you again."

"You think so?" I laughed. "Well, keep my bed warm, then, huh?"

Both the security guards stared at me with the same unamused, half-hooded glare before helping to complete my check out process. And before I really knew it, I was free.

"Whooooo! Yaaaay! Congratulations!" Giorgi's family cheered louder than anyone else in the surprisingly large crowd of about 450-500 people; I'd completely forgotten that Gio was insanely popular in high school and college, and that his family was so big. He and I both burned red as we pulled away from our kiss, and I couldn't help but giggle ridiculously as I stood in front of him in a black tux, him dressed the same though wearing a black tie, and myself wearing a white one.  We were finally married, and this subconscious inkling of insecurity had left me completely. I didn't know what exactly that insecurity was for, but I didn't care. It was gone.

My mother, sister, and Jackson were at our wedding. They all clapped, however, my mom and sister did so lazily, as if my wedding were a chore to them... meanwhile my mother's ex whistled loudly as he cheered, and really showed his enthusiasm. I did my best to ignore them. My sister and mother weren't too fond of each other but they were 10x closer than my mother and myself, and Jackson hadn't talked to either of them ever since he was kicked out. Giorgi had found and reached out to invite him to our wedding, and even though it was nice to see the only person that made me feel cared about when I was young, it was hard to be near him. Because I didn't see him as a father or uncle or anything like that when I was younger, but just a man that loved me. And Giorgi knew that I mistakenly fell in love with my mother's ex-boyfriend when I was a teenager but he invited him so that I could get closure... And so that I could apologize for getting him kicked out.

Amani was also there, sitting beside Jackson. He clapped and whistled for us, and I couldn't help but feel overjoyed by the professor's appearance and support. I began feeling a bit more trusting and a tad more open with him after seeing him cheer me and Giorgi on. I also felt a bit nervous being watched by him because, by God, did Amani know how to wear a suit! Ugh! Giorgi had even been gawking over at the gorgeous man when my mother had walked me down the aisle.

Amani had worn a dark maroon suit with a black shirt underneath and a black tie, his hair styled in a half-up half-down do with two dreads dangling off each side of his head as bangs, both those and several of his dreads decorated with silver clamps and small rings—all that complimented his shiny diamond earrings. The man was stunning, and easily the best dressed in the large crowd. Giorgi, though, was best dressed of anyone in the entire ceremony. I didn't know how much I loved the sight of him in a tux; even more so the idea of him doing me in it.

"Let's go inside before you all freeze," my husband abruptly shouted, extending one of his arms out towards the reception building we'd rented, shooing everyone out of the chilly January weather.

All of the children were the first to sprint inside, while all the adults got up and took their time to follow suit, all of their eyes glued on Giorgi and myself as if they didn't want to miss a second kiss or something like that.
