The next day, rumors about our rocky relationship began to spread like wildfire. It seemed like the whole school knew about it because as I walked through the school halls with Shoto, everyone stared including our own classmates.

"I wonder who the other girl is?" Whispered a student I didn't know.

"I heard it's Camie Utsushimi from Shiketsu High."

"I heard that she's been flirting with him all year."

We kept walking and finally got to the classroom before the bell. I took my seat and class soon began. Later in the day, it was lunchtime and as I was getting ready to leave, Aizawa sensei called me. "Y/n. I need you to stay after class." I sighed as I waited for all of the students to leave. I walked up to him and stood there as I waited for him to say something. "Are you okay?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"You haven't been yourself all day. You aren't giving your usual 100%."

"No one can always be 100%. All Might isn't always Plus Ultra."

"Not participating in class and not trying your best during training isn't like you at all... Is this about the rumors?"

I sighed and sat on a desk. "So you've heard."

"It's not my place to make any comments about your relationship, but if it's starting to reflect in your school performance, then I'm obligated to insert myself."

"I'm sorry, Sensei. I've been so upset recently, that I let it mess with my energy. You're right. This isn't me."

"... Let's just call this an off day. I hope you'll feel better by tomorrow. Enjoy lunch." He grabbed his things and headed for the door. "Oh and I'm here if you need an adult to talk to."

He walked out and I grabbed my things before going to lunch. As I walked into the cafeteria, I could already see people staring at me. I looked at my usual lunch table to see Shoto and Yaoyorozu sitting next to each other. I huffed before walking towards them and standing behind them. "Excuse me." I said while tapping on her shoulder.

"Oh, did you want to sit here?" She asked. I could feel my blood boiling. What kind of question was that?

"There's no space on this damn bench. Sit on the other side." Said Bakugo while raising his voice.

"Then someone's gonna have to move to make space for me." I replied.

"Babe. Just grab some lunch and sit on the other side." Said Shoto. I immediately burst into flames, catching everyone's attention. "What are you doing? Why are you using your quirk?"

I gritted my teeth before backing up. "You know what? I'm done. Fuck you, fuck her and fuck this relationship."

"What?.. Y/n! Put the flames out before your clothes burn off!" He quickly got up before hugging me and trying to extinguish my flames. I just started making them hotter until they became blue. "Stop that! It hurts!" I kept trying to push him off, but he wouldn't let me.

"Shoto! Let me go!" I yelled. He quickly picked me up and made himself colder while walking out of the cafeteria. He quickly carried me to the pool before throwing me in. "Are you serious right now?!"

"Are you?! What's gotten into you?!"

I scoffed and looked at him in disbelief. "Is this some kind of joke? You're the one that's been acting weird and sneaky! Who the fuck is Camie?! Why are people talking about her flirting with you all year?!"

"My provisional hero license classmate? She's just some girl that flirts with all the good looking guys. I've never acknowledged her."

"Fine. I'll believe you. Do you have anything else you want to tell me before I find out later on?"

"Nothing. I'm not keeping any secrets."

I scoffed before getting out. "I think I'm gonna ask Aizawa for permission to go home for a few days. I don't think that I can be around you."

"What? What did I do?" He asked. I ignored him before leaving and going back to the dorms. I washed up before changing and heading to the teachers lounge. When I walked in, I spotted Aizawa sensei and approached his desk.

"Is everything okay?" He asked.

"I was hoping to get permission to go home for a few days. I just need some time to clear my head."

"I'm sorry, but I can't do that. Winter break starts in two days and you need to be here until it happens. You'll have plenty of time to be on your own after Christmas eve."

I sighed before nodding and leaving. Later that day, I locked myself in my room. I didn't want to see anyone and I didn't have much of an appetite. There were a few attempts to talk to me by some of the girls, but being alone just felt right.
