'Liar'

"Okay, everyone ready?" The boys had been home resting up for about two days. Their manager had told them about the tour which was in a week. They were beyond excited since they were going to get to interact with a lot of their fans from around the world. 

Hobi made everyone stretch and warm up before practicing. "Okay, let's go!" For the rest of the day, all anyone could hear was the panting and squeaks of their shoes. They only took a break for lunch and practiced non-stop until late into the night. 

" Is your leg okay?" Jin asked after they had stopped practicing for the day. Dawa nodded, giving Jin a half smile. Jin just stared longingly at Dawa's lips wishing that the younger would lift the other side of his mouth. He did see it a couple of times when he thought no one was looking or  when he would film the music videos and he had to add facial expression in the dance or act. At those times he admired the crooked smile that Dawa wore. To Jin the slightly crooked smiles were Dawa's most genuine smiles. In front of cameras Dawa only smirked or faked a smile and those, Jin knew were forced. Jin being an actor himself couldn't deny the younger's acting skills, in fact, it scared the older a bit since Jin could never tell if Dawa was hurt or in pain due to his acting. 

Dawa was too busy tying his shoes to notice Jin watching him. After a while Jin stood up, walking back to the others, Dawa following behind him. 

"You should smile more, you know." 

Dawa stopped, taken aback at the random suggestion. After processing he understood why Jin said that. He wasn't the type to smile easily, even if he wanted to he couldn't. The simple truth was that Dawa hated his smile. Everytime he smiled, he felt like hiding under a blanket. It was unnatural to him. In the music videos, those came more naturally since he was wearing his idol self. But in real life he hated his smile simply because he thought it made him look ugly. 

"Maybe." Dawa whispered to himself more than to Jin.

Everyone was preparing well. Bang PD had told them they were going to perform in 6 cities all around Asia. This was huge news for all of them which was why they had been working non-stop. Some, mostly Yoongi, had barely any sleep. Some nights, Dawa would accompany Yoongi to the studio to make sure Yoongi didn't overwork himself. On those nights, Yoongi would tech Dawa about producing and composing songs and music. Dawa was just there soaking in all that he could learn from Yoongi. If there was one thing Dawa liked to do, it was learning or collecting information like they were money falling from the sky. 

Some days, Dawa would stay with Jimin and Hobi who stayed later in the dance practice room and practice with them. He felt he had to work harder in dancing than anything else because of his minor injury. It didn't bother him if he took breaks and because of all the dancing, he figured out the his left leg gives out if he practiced too hard for too long. 

In the early mornings, he would practice with the vocal line to become better at singing. He Singing was probably the easiest thing for Dawa but it sometimes it depended on the situation. Singing allowed him more time to pronounce the words correctly. If he was rapping in Korean, it was harder because he would stumble upon the words or mispronounce them. If he was rapping in English, it was a lot easier for him since English was his first language. 

Whenever he got some down time, he would read or write some lyrics with Namjoon. He liked all of these moment with the members and loved it even more when all of them were together when they weren't in front of cameras. If there were cameras on, he preferred to have some distance between them and him. So, when the staff gave the band a camera and Jungkook would come around filming or v-logging, Dawa always tried to step out of the camera's view. Dawa wasn't a stranger to the hate that he got from fans. He knew that there were people who wanted him to leave BTS, who thought he was rude to the other members and there was also the rumor that he was violent and tried to steal someone's girlfriend. The company had released a statement that it was a misunderstanding about the last one, but haters will hate. In any case, Dawa distanced himself from the others in front of camera in hopes that it would bring the other members more fame. If he was right next to them, fans would complain about how Dawa could spread his 'rude nature' to the others.
