Chapter 45

I ARRIVED at my office exact 8 am. I have so many paperworks to finish. May sakit pa din si Graycie. Nakpag debate pa siya na mawawala daw yung fever niya kung iinom siya ng cold medicine, but she's wrong. Ms. Glenda handed my schedule for today.

"By the way sir, how's Ms. Graycie?" Tanong niya habang naka-ngiti.

"She's doing fine." Tiningnan ko ang schedule ko for today. I have 5 meetings later.

"Oh, that's great! Nice to hear that. I will take my leave." I just nodded at her.

Sinimulan ko na ang bulk ng paperworks sa table ko. Binasa at pinirmahan ko ito at the same time. Si Sammirah, buhay prinsesa pa din. I want to scold her but I'm too tired to do that. She's pain in my ass. Kaya nga siya umuwi dito dahil she needs to help me here. She's already adult kaya dapat lang siya magtrabaho. For godsake!

I massage my temple. Gusto ko nang unuwi. Ayaw niya kaming mahawaan ni Zamiel. That's why she's locked herself in her room. I'm not upset at her, I just can't take it when her ex is kissed her that night. Gusto ko lang siyang suntukin that time.

I just do my job for a whole day. All meetings are successful and finished. Iniligpit ko ang gamit ko at nag ready ng umuwi. Mag day off ako bukas at si Sammirah ang papalit sakin. Yun ang kondisyon ko para makapag stay siya sa mansion. I left at my office,  pumunta ko sa parking lot ng building.

I lock my seatbelt, I start the engine and left. I wear my earphone, Idinial ko ang number ni Graycie. It takes 5 rings before she answer it.

"Yes?"

"Are you feeling better now?"

"Better than yesterday but you still not allowed to come near me. Yung anak mo ang tigas ng ulo, buti nalang andyan kapatid to calm him down."

"Because tumatanggi kang lumapit siya sayo. I know that feeling."

"You both idiots. Iniisip ko lang kayo, just listen to me. Babawi nalang ako pag galing ko, promise."

"Yeah I understand. Can I see you, saglit lang."

"Tsk! Tigas talaga ng ulo mo. Silip lang at mag mask ka. 'wag kang papasok, after you see me, leave immediately."

"Yeah, I will do that. Please pagaling ka na para naman mayakap at mahalikan na kita, My Graycie."

"S-Shut u-up.. you're driving right? Focus on the road."

"I think you're blushing by now. Did I make your heart flattered again?"

"N-No! B-Baka ikaw!"

"Pinasa mo pa sa'kin. I'll see you later My Graycie, I love you always."

"Y-Yeah.. s-see you.."

"Where's my I love you too?"

"I-I love you too! Take care, bye!"

I just smile when the line has ended. I know that she's still feel excited when I'm talking like that. She's into me, I know that. Graycie is mine now, I don't want her to be sad and broken just like before. Hanggang maaari ayoko siyang pauwiin sa kanila dahil sakit lang ang dulot 'non sa kanya.
