Chapter Forty-Five

Y/N POV

It was getting pretty boring reading so I decided so do my makeup

I wanted to do a natural look so I did it

I added a bit of freckles since I didn't have enough

It was time to do the eye liner. I'm always scared to do my eye liner

After I got done, I went downstairs to grab a little snack

I opened the open

For some reason it got cold

And there was some kind of weird smell

I felt a bad vide for some reason. I don't even know if I want to go downstairs anymore

You know what fuck it. I ain't no pussy

I shut the door close and went down the stairs

The smell was coming from the kitchen

The kitchen door was close

I started to walked towards the kitchen door

Just when I was about to reach it someone stopped me

"Y/N don't go inside!" They said

Great now I can't see what was happening inside

I turn around and it was my father

"Why can't I go inside?" I said

"Cause I need to talk to you." He said

Something was off about him. Probably I'm just imagining things

We went to the living room

I sat down slowly on the couch

My father decided he would stand next to the window

"What did you want to talk to me about?" I said

He was silent

"Are you gonn-" I said than my father said something

"When you were a child. Me and your mother thought you were going to be a smart, independent, wonderful person someday. And we're are right." He said

I was confused why he was telling me this

"And after I let you, your mother, and Michael down I never forgave myself. We always dreamed of having an amazing family. But I guess it didn't worked out." He said

"What are you trying to say?" I said

"Give me a chance. Give me a chance and we can be a family again." He said

I had tears in my eyes. It wasn't happiness, it was anger

"You think I would give you another chance! After years of not having my mother here or you, I would give you another chance!" I said

He looked at me

I looked at him straight in the eyes and got up

"You were never there for me and Michael! And your expect me to give you another fucking chance!" I said with a shaky voice

He stayed silent

"I waited my whole life for you to be here! You never came! I knew my mother was dead since I was a little girl! I waited every day! For you to be here!" I said

I could see he had tears in his eyes

"It was a good thing you left! It was amazing when you weren't here! My life without you was good!" I said proud
