Home Run!

"Our ace is back at it again!" My friend laughed as I ran around the bases.

"We were scared you were going to turn into a makeup loving freak" He laughed as he patted my back.

"Being an idol isn't all that bad. I'm rich" We laughed and walked out of the practice place, to head to a karaoke place.

During our one week vacation before the tour I decided to visit my hometown jeju island. My friends were all waiting for me to return from my, according to them, idol phase. They hoped I would come back because the baseball team was starting to go downhill and they wanted me to leave my group. Honestly I enjoyed being an idol and being up on stage, plus the guys were great and I enjoyed being able to laugh with all them.

"We've seen a couple of your performances, you guys aren't bad for rookies. Except that guy Quill he just gives off a bad aura, you better watch out"

"Quill? C'mon Doyoung, he isn't a bad guy. Actually he's a great leader and he's our best rapper. I mean except when he and Daniel decide to pull pranks on all the members"

"Pranks? And you don't join in? Man, has idol life changed you" Doyoung laughed as he smacked my back.

"It's not all that bad, except for the one incident. Actually Dae-Hyun you know this one, you were around the time this happened" Dae-Hyun looked up from his phone that kept him distracted

"Oh yeah, that sucked. Me and Haneul here got mobbed by fans when I visited Seoul. We didn't even get our coffee"

Doyoung laughed as my friend Young-Jae bought us a booth and we ordered some food. The booth was quite big and of course Doyoung and his cocky attitude took the stage first, he really thought he was the best singer. We watched from the back and laughed at his try at high notes, he tried mimicking me.

"My eardrums!" I yelled as Dae-Hyun fell off the couch from laughing so hard at Doyoung's high note that didn't work out so well. Lucky for us the song finally ended and the room fell silent as Doyoung copied my dramatic face I did on our debut stage.

"My name is Kim Haneul, I am the center of Gen10 and I am the only one who can sing high notes!" He started pretty much shrieking as he tried to mimic our dance for Ready, Set, Go at my high note.

"Shut up! Oh my god! My ears are going to burst" Everyone was laughing at me being dramatic over his terrible singing and Doyoung being even more dramatic while acting like me. Am I really this dramatic?

"Okay, okay. Me and Dae-Hyun will go next" I shoved Doyoung over to the couch as he flopped down next to Young-Jae. "Look at how bad you are! A 56? Watch me get a 100" Doyoung started to flop around from laughing too hard at his score.

Dae-Hyun was the only one in the group able to sing other than me, but he can't do high notes at all. Dae-Hyun became a trainee only a couple months ago at SM Entertainment and he came back to our hometown because I was coming back. Dae-Hyun wanted to choose the song and he chose 'Memory of the Wind' the song that led me to becoming an idol.

"Woooo! Go Hannie and Dae!" Young-Jae cheered from behind us as the song started. Dae-Hyun started off our song and Doyoung started filming from behind.

I was hitting all the high notes flawlessly and Dae-Hyun was a good vocal support. We were so good a small crowd of girls formed around our door for the booth and started filming. We finished the song off and quickly ran off to the couch so we could start the next song. Our score 97, if only Dae-Hyun didn't try a high note we would've been perfect.

"Young-Jae, your turn! Go on up their golden boy" Dae-Hyun laughed as he pushed Young-Jae towards the microphones. "C'mon Dae! We both know Young-Jae can't sing to save his life. Let eomma rest from taking care of Doyoung while we were gone. We all know he's a handful!" I chuckled as Doyoung started sulking on the couch, like a small child.

"YAH! I'll show you what this eomma can do" Young-Jae ripped the microphone out of his hands and started scrolling through all the songs and went with the same song we sang, just so he could beat our score.

While Young-Jae started singing the song my phone started buzzing in my pocket, so I left the booth to answer it.

"Daniel? How's your vacation going? I heard you and Quill went to a lake"

"Hyung! Quill wants to go on hiatus before the tour, terrible rumours are being spread online. Please help! You're straightforward so say something to him"

"What?"

Fun facts- Doyoung, Haneul, Young-Jae and Dae-Hyun have been friends since they were pretty much just learning how to walk and they played baseball together. Haneul is the pitcher, Doyoung is 2nd baseman, Young-Jae is left outfield while Dae-Hyun is right outfield. Young-Jae has also been the mom of the group while Doyoung and Haneul were the mischievous kids and Dae-Hyun is extremely innocent.

Haneul is very straightforward and has a cocky attitude. He's got the sass as well and while in school he was a big flirt. According to Doyoung becoming an idol changed him, and it did. He isn't too mischievous anymore and stopped being a flirt. Because of his straightforward attitude he was supposed to be leader but Haneul turned it down because he felt he wasn't ready to lead a team to fame, he wanted to take a break from being leader.
