✦・forty seven╭╯

The sun was sinking below the horizon. With each blink of the eye, it sank lower before finally disappearing behind the mountains. Night fell slowly, changing the sky from pink and orange to dark blue. The Erothian moon peeked behind the clouds, shining brightly on the world below it.

The cool night breeze fanned Namjoon's red face. He took a few deep breaths from his mouth before they started moving again. Sweat trickled down the back of his neck and he wiped it off. The breeze cooled his face and body down and gave him room to think.

His instincts told him he could trust Adaleiz and the others. She had the same powers as Zia. Jett had the powers of darkness. He led the way to the top of the mountain. His white hair shone brightly. Beside him was Kaius, his boyfriend. He had muscles resembling his strength and looked very intimidating. Zemira possessed the fire powers. She walked behind the group, making an eye out for their back.

Taehyung was walking beside him, looking around cautiously. He too, like Namjoon, wasn't entirely sure if he should trust them. Jungkook walked quietly. His face blank, Namjoon couldn't tell what he was thinking.

"How much longer?" Taehyung asked.

"Not much. We just have to get there." Kaius said, pointing at the top of the mountain.

If they continued at this pace, it would take them at least half an hour to climb up. And to make things harder, it started to rain. Big droplets fell on Namjoon's head.

"Great!" Adaleiz muttered in annoyance. She raised a hand to put in above her eyes, to stop the rain from preventing her vision.

"If we run then-" Kaius started.

"If we run, then someone will fall on their face." Jett finished the sentence for him. "We should take shade."

"There is a cave at the top of the mountain. I made it, so no one knows about it. We can go there." Zemira said, shrugging casually, like she was talking about how her day went.

"How long will it take to reach there?" Kaius asked.

"Twenty minutes max."

After the excruciating walk, they reached the cave. It was on the top of the mountain. It was well hidden behind the thick trunk of trees. Namjoon stepped into the cave. It was warm, for being closed off for a while. Zemira lit the cave with her powers.

Namjoon stood near the fire, warming himself. He was soaked head to toe. His teeth stopped chattering when the heat of the flames touched his skin. He sighed happily.

"Now what?" Jungkook asked, speaking for the first time in a long while.

"We wait for the others to join us." Aladeiz responded.

"Others?" Taehyung asked, his voice casual but his eyes suspicious, sweeping around the cave.

"Your friends." Taehyung nodded.

"By the time they get here, would you answer some of my questions?" Namjoon asked. He remembered seeing them in the room in which their execution orders were given.

Taehyung didn't trust them a bit. After the whole scene in that room where it was announced they were going to be executed and Aqua not answering his calls, he was having trust issues.

"By the time they get here, would you answer some of my questions?" Namjoon asked.

They looked at each other before nodding slowly. This only raised Taehyung's suspicions.

What would they hide from us?

"Sure." Aladeiz said, cautiously.

"Who are you?" Namjoon asked.

"The Royal Children, that's what they call us." Jett laughed bitterly. He didn't want to be associated with that term.

"Why?" Jungkook asked.

"Cause our parents rule the planet."

Their parents ruled Eroth. He had heard that Eroth was being ruled by monsters and the Phenomenal had to save it. How was this possible? Did a war break out and finish before they reached here? But the planet didn't look war strained.

"But monsters ruled the planet." Taehyung spoke out, confused.

The Royal Children looked at each other, exchanging confused glances.

"I think there has been some misunderstanding," said Zemira. "Monsters never ruled this planet."

Taehyung's eyes widened. If monsters didn't, then who did?

"But that's what Aqua told me." Namjoon whispered in shock.

"Aqua?" Kaius asked.

"The voice of my gem."

Adaleiz let go of her lip, which she was biting. "You know what, let everyone come up here. Then everything will be clear."

"Indira, where are you?" Zemira spoke over the phone. There was a muffled response from the other side. Taehyung was surprised that Erothians had phones. "Yeah, sure. I'll send Calve there."

After a while, a boy with blonde hair flew in, holding someone. It was a girl, she also had blonde hair. Her clothes were covered in blood. His heart skipped a beat. It was her own blood. The girl was Zia.

The blonde boy slowly put her down, and everyone rushed towards them. Zia's skin was pasty and pale. Her breathing was shallow.

"Ahaan said to make sure she doesn't bleed any more." The boy said to Zemira.

Hoseok, Jimin and Night rushed in with three more Erothians. All of them were dripping wet because of the rain.

Hoseok's eyes were red. Night was shaken over something. Jimin's eyes were filled with worry. He crouched down to heal Zia, but a boy resembling his features stopped him.

"Jimin, I'll do that," he said. "You need to save your powers."

"For what?" Jimin asked.

"You'll see. You too Night." He then bent down and placed his hand on Zia's wound.

Night nodded gravely. She looked very exhausted to even question the boy. Jimin shot her a worried glance.

Taehyung was starting to get annoyed by the Erothians and their two-word answers. It would not kill them to explain what they meant in proper sentences.

But Night didn't use her powers-

"But Night doesn't use her powers." Namjoon pointed out.

Everyone's eyes went to Night. She sighed and gave Jimin a pleading look before closing her eyes.

"She does now." Jimin said nervously, but he didn't elaborate further.
