Anahita - Your Name
Your P.O.V.
"We don't have time for this," said Diego frustratedly, stepping forward to go past Sissy. "Where do you think you're going," she asked, proceeding to point the gun at him instead. "To help your son," explained Diego, trying to put her at ease. "Look, Sissy, I found my family. These are my brothers, my sister, and my daughter (A/N: and sister-in-law ig?)," said Vanya, pointing at each of us. "Ma'am," said Luther when Sissy glanced at him. "Were you lyin' to me the whole time," asked Sissy after looking over at each one of us. "Of course not. Look, I didn't know who I was. But I do now. And we are not the monsters they say we are. We did not kill the president. We are not terrorists. We're not here to hurt anyone," said Vanya, stepping forward slowly towards Sissy, who had now stopped pointing the gun at us. "Then... Who are you?" asked Sissy, the pain and confusion evident in her features.
"Ma'am, we are the only ones who can help your son. I am like him too," I said, using Five's heartbeat to float up a few feet into the air, demonstrating my powers. I landed back down after a few seconds, and Five immediately wrapped his arm around me. Sissy just nodded, and all of us went to the barn. Vanya slid the door open with all her might, energy resonating through the whole room. As Vanya talked to Harlan and tried to calm him, Klaus and I noticed a familiar whooshing sound. We both walked towards the barn door to see Lila and the Handler. "Fuck... Five," I yelled, making him come over to where I was standing, along with the rest of the people. "Ah, shit," exclaimed Diego as soon as he saw who the two people were. "Who are they," asked Klaus, his voice higher than usual from confusion. "One's the Handler. The other is Diego's girlfriend," clarified Five, making Diego protest, "Lila. That's my ex-girlfriend." "What?" asked Klaus, turning to Diego in concern. "You know what? Doesn't matter. They both look angry," said Luther. "Yeah. Our brother has that effect on people," said Allison, making me snort despite the situation.
"I'm gonna go find out what they want. You guys stay with Vanya and the kid," said Five, directing the rest of us. "Oh hell nah, I'm coming with," I protested. Five huffed impatiently and said, "Fine, Anahita. You are way too stubborn for your own good." "I'm coming too," said Diego, and the three of us walked towards the two women. "I love the smell of that fresh country air, don't you darling," chuckled the Handler as soon as we were within earshot. "Makes me wanna barf," commented Lila, making me roll my eyes. "What do you want," asked Five before I could even start a rant about how awesome it would be to live in a cottage in the countryside away from *shudder* humans {A/N: Other than Five and other hot fictional characters of course... preferably characters who can kill me, like Black Widow ;)... I really should not find murderers this hot-}. "To watch you suffer," said Lila. "Over my dead body," I said, stepping forward towards her threateningly. "Gladly," she smirked looking me up and down. "What about me," said Diego, sounding vaguely seductive. "You're not even worth my wrath," snapped Lila. "Easy," said the Handler, almost as if Lila was a dog. "We're here on official business," continued the Handler, now turning to face us. "And what business is that," asked Five, raising his chin a bit. "As the head of the Commission, I've decided to eliminate the criminals responsible for the assassination of the former board of directors," said the Handler, making my eyes widen as I glanced towards Five knowingly. He glanced back at me and took my hand, rubbing comforting circles on the base of my thumb. A constant stream of swear words flitted through my head as Diego said, "Yeah, right. We didn't kill the board." I cringed and placed my fingers on the bridge of my nose as Five said with a grimace, "Actually, Diego, that's not entirely accurate." "You didn't tell them," said the Handler, looking at Five. "I told her. No one else needed to know," said Five, pulling me closer to him. "Oh Five," said the Handler in a disapproving tone.
"Five, what the hell did you do," asked Diego, leaning towards us and whispering angrily. "What he had to get me and the rest of your sorry asses back home," I snarled, defending Five's decision. "Until somebody reneged on our deal," remarked Five, looking pointedly at the Handler. "somebody wouldn't have reneged if somebody could've met a simple deadline. Alas," retorted the Handler, cocking her head to the side in faux sympathy. "You set me up to fail," said Five angrily, making the Handler say, "You set yourself up to fail, friend. You and your brothers and your sisters and even your little girlfriend. Kinda the running theme of your little life, isn't it?" "What is it with people always assuming that we're dating," I whispered angrily to Five. "... we are dating," said Five, looking at me with an incredulous expression. "First of all, you haven't even taken me out for coffee. Second of all, people have been assuming that we're dating far before we actually started dating," I replied, shrugging. "Dude, I can't believe you killed the board of directors. You have no idea how messed up the Commission is right now," interrupted Diego angrily. Five and I shot him a "Seriously? Right now?" look at having disrupted our conversation. "Messed up? Who's saying that?" interrupted the Handler, making my look of annoyance shift to her. "Everybody. Christ, even the janitors think it's going to shit," said Diego, turning to face the blonde.
"That's not all he killed," remarked Lila, making me turn to her and then to Five with confusion. Five just shrugged, implying that he didn't know either. "What are you talking about," spoke up Five. "Don't play dumb, you prepubescent piece of shit," said Lila angrily. "Jeez, if you weren't an inherently bad person, I would date you," I remarked, making everyone turn to me in confusion. "What? She's hot," I defended as Diego rolled his eyes. "Enough. The point is, all of you are going to die today. Hmm," said the Handler, placing her suitcase down. "Yeah? Well, you and whose army? Cause, you are like 2 people, while we are 8 people," I remarked, crossing my arms in front of my chest and glaring at the blonde defiantly. "You know, you're right. Let's change that," said the Handler, snapping her fingers. Suddenly, there were rapid wooshes as a whole bunch of people appeared on the barren field in a flash of blue, all of them wielding weapons. My eyes widened in fear as I glanced at Five, who glanced back at me with equal amounts of fear and concern.
"Fuck. I should not have said anything," I said as the people cocked their guns.
