"What? What him? He's gonna kill you? Yeah right, that's ridiculous," scoffed Luther, laughing. "Work on you lying idiot. Maybe cheat on a few tests, and then try to convince me," I said, rolling my eyes at the obvious lie. "You're a worse liar than you are a spotter. And he's your brother," I exclaimed, waving my hand wildly in annoyance. "Okay, who's fault is that? What good is having a spotter if he won't even listen to him? He literally only listens to you! You aren't even family," said Luther, his tone changing immediately. "She's my girlfriend, that's why I listen to her. And she's the only person who isn't stupid! I mean, did you just admit to conspiring against me," seethed Five. "I don't know, do you admit that you're suffering from Paradox Psychosis," retorted Luther. "All I am suffering from is is bracing clarity about you and your murderous intentions," said Five angrily.
"Look, it's not like he's gonna 'kill you' kill you. He just wants to kill a... um, version of you," said Luther. "But I am that version of me," said Five, exasperated. "Hey, I don't love it, either, but he's actually got a pretty good plan," said Luther. "What? The one where you guys off me and then jump to 2019 to save the world," asked Five, shoving his hair out of his face exasperatedly, making Luther look at him in shock and ask, "Yeah, wait, how did you know that?" "Because I'm him, and that I exactly what I would do if I were trying to kill me," said Five, hissing at the end, making me laugh. "Okay, all I know is we've got one Five too many, and you're the one acting like a maniac," said Luther, and I shrugged in understanding. "Maniac? And Y/N, you agree?! Let me tell you both, you have seen nothing. If you want maniac, I will show you maniac," said Five, making Luther look at him, frightened. "I'm gonna show you loco, maniac, sick bitch, psychopath," I started singing, and Luther turned to me with pleading eyes. "You're the one at fault, you need to do something," I shrugged, skipping forward to take Five's hand, humming.
"Okay, as your spotter, I think the best thing I can do for you right now is put you out of your misery," said Luther, making me roll my eyes. "Okay, Luther, listen," said Five, grabbing Luther's shoulders. "I know you feeble mind only respond to age and authority, so listen very closely. Yet again, you are experiencing daddy issues, this time with your own brother, which honestly is making me a bit crazy. But remember this: I'm 14 days older than him. So it is me you should be listening to, Luther. I'M THE DADDY HERE," yelled Five at the end, making me trip and fall on the ground. "Shit, are you okay," asked Five as soon as he noticed me on the ground as Luther awkwardly looked around at the whispering pedestrians. "Do you realize how strange that sounds?" I coughed out, still recuperating. I rolled my eyes and took his hand, standing up and brushing my skirt clean. "Anyway, I'm sure you are the daddy," I said, smirking way too much, "But that language is only for bed," I finished, laughing way too hard. "Stop being unseemly, both of you," said Luther, scandalized, while Five smirked just as much as me.
"Anyway, Luther. I admit there is a possibility that I may not be in my fully... right mind right now," said Five, becoming tense again. "Okay, good," said Luther, triumphant. "But whatever I've got, he's got it too," said Five, pointing at Old Five accusingly. "You three quit grab-assing. We're here," said Olf Five, making the rest of us pick up the pace so we were close to him. Olf Five stopped in front of a fence, and I stopped for a moment to tie up my hair (if any) while Five and Luther walked ahead. When I reached them again, my hair out of my face (if any), Five said, "That was just lunch, all right? Shut up." Five then walked away while Luther looked confused. Very confused. "What did you say to the poor guy," I asked Five, who was wiping away sweat with a handkerchief. "Nothing," he said, wrapping an arm around my shoulder. I nuzzled my face into the shoulder of his blazer, closing my eyes and breathing slowly. "Look, the briefcase," said Five, making me open my eye lazily. I noticed his green eyes staring maniacally at the briefcase beside Old Five. "No, don't. You won't be able to get there in time," said Luther, and I nodded in agreement. "Of course I will. This is our only chance," said Five, making me sigh. "Stage Seven. Homicidal rage," I told matter-of-factly to Luter, who looked absolutely terrified of Five and confused at my attitude. "That's... great," said Luther. Five then went forward and tried to catch Olf Five, but Old Five disappeared too. "Bad idea, shit-heel," said Old Five, pointing his gun at Five. Luther then grabbed Olf Five's gun and said, "Stop it, okay? The both of you. Pull it together. Now, Kennedy is going to be coming around that corner any minute. Okay? So everyone stop and take a deep breath," said Luther, inhaling and exhaling. I tried to listen to the rest of the conversation but felt electric currents pass through me all of a sudden. "What the fuck," I said softly as Five and Old Five started fighting again. I then fell to the ground, everything going black. I started violently shaking on the floor as shock after shock passed through me, making me yell in pain. "Y/N, I am sorry, but I can't help you right now. Those idiots hit me and won't stop fighting. I'll help you when I can," I heard Luther say as I passed out, shocks still going through my body.
"Y/N? Y/N, wake up," I heard a voice say. "Shut up, I need sleep," I groaned out, smacking whoever that person was in the face. Suddenly, I realized where I was and sat up, my breathing shallow. "What the fuck happened? Where's Old Five," I asked, looking at Five, who was sitting right next to me. "In the portal," shrugged Five, pointing at the remains of the briefcase. "Shit," I said, frustrated, standing up. "Nice job Luther," I said rolling my eyes. "Hey! You had a seizure of some sort and both Five's hit me, and then a FIRE EXTINGUISHER HIT ME IN THE FACE," yelled Luther, making me flinch. "Dam, sorry," I muttered. "Hey, don't yell at her," defended Five. "Y/N! Y/N, here he comes," yelled Five, walking to the fence. I walked beside him and we both peered over the fence to see Kenedy's car, Luther standing right next to me. "Look, there's dad," pointed Luther at a man clad in black, holding an umbrella. Jeez, this dude is really obsessed with umbrellas, he needs a hobby other than torturing his kids. Suddenly, I noticed a familiar man. "Fuck," I said, just as Five said, "Shit," and Luther said, "Oh no." "Diego," the three of us said in unison, following the movement of the man. Just as Diego tackled the man, gunshots rang out through the Grassy Knoll. "No," yelled Diego in agony as people ran around like headless chickens, screaming in terror. All three of us stared in horror at the scene that had just taken place in front of us.
I vaulted over the fence and went to Diego, pulling him back towards the fence. "Let's go, Buck," I said softly, wiping the tears from his eyes. Five grabbed my hand and we all disappeared in a blue vortex, landing up back at Elliot's place. "We're tired and emotionally drained... we should go to bed," I said, comforting Diego. "Goodnight Buck, sleep well," I said to the man, hugging him for a moment before letting go. "Night Luther," I said as climbed up the stairs, and he just nodded. As the two boys disappeared from view, I swayed on the spot, the events of today catching up with my body. "Hey, it's okay, I got you P/T/O/E," said Five softly, grabbing my waist to support me. "So... tired," I mumbled out, swaying again. He picked me up bridal style and put me on my bed. As he went to leave, I softly said, "Stay? Please?" He smiled softly and climbed into bed next to me, pulling me closer to him. I subconsciously nuzzled my face into his chest, falling asleep quickly in his comforting embrace.
