Chapter One

I walked into school with a smile on my face, it was a new year and the perfect summer had just passed. The hallways were full because as always, I was here just seconds before the first bell was set to ring. When I arrived, people stared. In that good kind of way though, like they can’t believe you’re a real person, and I’m vain so it makes me smile.

Yes, I will admit it. I am like a god. I was born like this.

Soft chocolate brown hair, smooth skin, and piercing blue eyes. There’s not much more a girl could ask for. And when they have me, they’re instantly addicted.

But then again, how could they not be?

I am the recipe for a perfect boyfriend.

I play football, basketball, soccer, and lacrosse. I am on the swim team, and I play ice hockey.

What else would a girl need?

Anyway, I scanned the hallway for any potential game.

One girl, black hair, brown eyes, ‘bout an eight out of ten. I can do better. The second girl was a blonde bombshell, jackpot.

My smile got wider as I approached her. She was wearing a short denim mini skirt a simple grey V-neck short sleeve, and some sandals. She was a ten.

“Hello beautiful.” I said leaning against the locker.

She turned looking annoyed until she recognized who it was. Her cheeks got red and she looked even better. I was definitely going to hit that.

“Hey!” She managed to choke out as she ran her finger through her hair and flipped it.

That’s when I recognized her, and realized I had made an even better choice than I had first known. It was my ex, Chelsea.

The bell rung as soon as her name was sounded in my head and my smile faded.

“Hang out with me at lunch?” I said.

Knowing guys like me, you probably know that that can only mean one thing. I was going to get it in faster than ever. Well...I cant say it’s the fastest because I once had relations with a girl after 3 minutes of meeting her.

I laughed, and looked at her, obviously missing her answer, and honestly I didn’t care what she had to say. She was going to meet me, no one has ever said no to me.

I nodded and left without saying good bye, shed deal with it. No biggie.

My first class was English 12 with Ms. Klein. I wasn’t looking forward to it, but school is school and class is class.

I walked in and sat down in the black left corner of the class. The tables were for two and I would always sit back here and wait for the best looking girl to walk in and notice me. We would partner up for the year, and of course I would work my magic on her.

Every year was the same, usually the same girls, the same classes, the same teachers. And as the class filed in, I noticed one new thing about Lake View High School, a new girl.

I sat back and studied her a bit as she talked to the teacher, announcing her arrival to the school and to the town and didn’t have time yet to notice that the only empty seat was next to me. The teacher pointed to me and to the empty seat next to me.

The world stopped. Her hair was brown and her bangs were pushed to the side. Her skin was tan and her body was brilliantly gorgeous and her eyes were a piercing blue.

And then it resumed and she gave me a weird, creeped out look. I couldn’t help but laugh out loud. Which I supposed didn’t help my case at all.

So I decided to try and make conversation, so maybe I wouldn’t seem so awkward.

“Hey, I’m Christian.” I said, giving her a quick flash of teeth smile.

“Hello Christian.” She replied getting out a notebook and pen.

I waited a bit for her to tell me her name and before I knew it, the bell had rung and she was starting to leave. I quickly threw my stuff in my bag and ran after her, almost tripping on the chair leg as I went. I ignored the snickering behind me and finally caught back up to her.

“Well aren’t you going to tell me your name?” I asked flinging on my bag.

She looked at me kind of confused and shook her head. “I know yours, why do you need to know mine?”

“Uhm, because you sit next to me in English. Shouldn’t we get to know each other better?”

This time she was the one to laugh. “I know you all too well.”

And with that she turned into the photography lab.

Nice talking to you too.
