Taehyung's POV

I don't know if you've ever watched the sunset in November, but it is incredible. When the sun first starts setting it becomes amazingly bright and blinding, lighting up one area of the sky so much that the rest seems even darker in comparison. It makes your eyes water. Then as it continues to set the sky turns red and blue and purple and the clouds take on startling formations, and you feel like there's something entirely different going on up there that you have no idea about and couldn't even begin to understand.

Eventually the sky settled into a deep purple and the stars started twinkling.

I've got a date today with the love of my life but here I'm sitting on my rooftop to appreciate nature or more specifically calm my raging nerves. What do people even do on their dates? I've already surfed on internet but everything seems rather cliché or maybe my taste is just backdated. I'm on the verge of cursing out loud.

No, seriously time like this makes me regret of not having any friends. Don't get me wrong I'm not lonely or anything but yeah I lack people with whom I can share my concerns with and also take advices from.

"What's cooking inside that brain consisting of half braincell?"

Oh... I forgot a rock was here with me. "Mhhmm... nothing much just trying to figure out why I'm so lucky as to getting a useless piece of shit as my so-called cousin."

"Why did you say, you brat?" Yoongi grumbled, I smirked in return.

"Have you ever gone to dates before?"

"Why would you ask such questions to your elders!? Where are your non-existent manners?" He looked visibly pale.

"Like you said they're non-existent," I pointed out simply, "How was it?"

He sighed, "Listen kid, I'm not into those kinda stuffs, dates are for hopeless romantic bitches."

Seriously? I knew he would say something like this. This is why I regret not having normal friends for once in my lifetime.

"Oh c'mon, I know Jimin is into these sorta stuffs, in case you're oblivious," I teased him and his ears turned pink. Oh gosh.

"Shut up, none of my business," Yoongi rolled his eyes and left the rooftop, clearly flustered. Very amusing, I must admit.

"Sure, sure, whatever helps you sleep better at night," I shouted at his back, with intentional pun.

"What took you so long?" Jungkook asked as soon as I reached the cafe we were supposed to meet to study for our upcoming finals. Yes, it was not actually our date, like we were just hanging out like usual, it was just in my head. I'm obviously a hopeless romantic guy as you all can see.

"Umm... how do I look?" I blurted out. No, I didn't spend half an hour trying out my whole closet and next an hour trying to fix my hair and face. I just tossed out random clothes and got ready in less than one minute like usual. Yes, that's the fact, believe it or not.

"Tae, you look nice just breathing, you know?" Jungkook said as if it's a matter of fact, making me blush.

Someone cleared their throat, "Bitch, you're just a whipped motherf*cker!"

I just noticed Jimin. "Why are you here?"

"Why can't I be? Did you guys planned to f*ck eachother here?" This bitch. Jungkook blushed slightly.

"Park shit, shut your mouth. There are children out here." I glanced at the table just across us where the mother was covering her child's ears and glaring at us.

He was still oblivious of the surroundings, "Opps! So it's okay to flirt with your boyfriend in front of "children", Mr. Kim?"

I ignored him and started sipping on my bubble tea. Jungkook nudged my knee slightly and I looked up to see him winking at me. What the fvck he was trying to do in public!

"Why am I in this major!? I'm going to fail anyway. Is it too late to leave this planet and start settling in Mars?" Jimin sighed for the nth times today.

"Take me with you too," Jungkook sighed, slouching in his seat, finals really be taking a toil on his mental health.

"Then I'm going too!" I interjected.

Jimin side eyed me and rolled his eyes, wishpering the first word, "Vampires aren't allowed."

"Oh really? Min Yoongi as well?" I smirked.

"Why would you bring him? It's none of my business," Jimin stuttered and pretended to work on his review sheets.

Jungkook and I met our eyes and chuckled together.

When we were done with reviewing for today it was almost 10 o' clock and we decided to call it a day. Jimin left alone because he said he didn't want to witness any disgusting things with his "pure" eyes. Anyone could tell he was just salty.

We decided to leave too and I invited Jungkook to drink some wine at my place, "Wine makes everything better, Kook." He was obviously stressed over the finals, I just wanted him to relax. Gladly, he agreed.

After the first bottle of wine, we set up fairy lights around my room 'cause Jungkook said my room looked too lifeless, I couldn't agree more. Then we created a playlist to blast through the speakers and sang, harmonized, danced, even acted out a dramatic scene to dramatic piano music. Like two best friends, we laughed and giggled throughout the night. My family members were out for various reasons today as a result the whole mansion was all ours.

Halfway through the second bottle of wine, Jungkook insisted on teaching me one of his favorite choreo. It was around midnight already by the time we got half the choreography done.

"No, you need to engage your core on this part." Jungkook instructed as he kept a firm grip on my waist, "Let's do that part again."

Rewinding the music, I positioned myself against his chest with both of our hands extended, hand in hand.

Maybe we can call it our first date, or is it just my wishful thinking?
