Part 18: Party at Ryan's

Above is Ava's Party dress.

Ava's POV:

I  am currently at Ryan's and Reva' house. Okay first of all the house is huge with ten rooms in it, including library and gym. There's huge pool backside of the house, surrounded by beautiful garden area beside it.

This was not the first time I have been at Reva's house but this time I actually went ahead and explored this house.

Our group is busy with prepping for the party tonight. Again it's Sunday, all thanks to Sean's and mine part time job. The party time is 7 pm till 12 am. 

"Hey bro we should decorate the pool area with neon lights" Reva said looking towards Ryan.

"We have already used the same all over the house" Ryan said.

"Yeah, I think we should go with fairy lights for pool area" Lily suggested.

"Yup, beneath the starry sky, it will look awesome" I supported Lily's idea.

"Okay than let's final on fairy lights" Ace said.

I looked at Ace he was already looking at me with smile on his face, I blushed a bit unintentionally and reverted my gaze to what I was doing.

After around five hours we were done with entire decoration. The house is ready to host the party. It's 5:30 pm so we had almost one and a half hour to get ready. All girls gathered in Reva's room. And boys, few in Ryan's and others in room beside it.

Reva's room was big with attached walk in closet. We settled on our outfits tonight, as both Lily and I had bought two set of outfits to choose from. I have gone for maroon dress with black heels, Reva went for red dress with golden pumps and Lily chose royal blue dress with silver heels. We got changed and began with our makeup as usual I went for light makeup keeping it simple. Once we all got ready we went down to meet others.

Ace's POV:

We were sitting in the living area waiting for girls. It's 6:40 pm and everyone will start arriving for the party soon. We all were discussing on how beautiful the house has turned around with all lightings, balloons and of course the snacks and drinks counter. We had kept some snacks for those who want to munch with drinks. After some five minutes the girls arrived downstairs. My gaze was stuck on the one girl - Ava, she was looking stunning in that dress.

"Finally you guys arrived" Keith said looking at girls.

Girls just laughed and sat on the couch. We complimented them. My gaze especially on Ava, who I could see was blushing.

We were chitchatting, when few final years arrived for the party.

After around one hour the entire house was filled with people, including pool area and garden. We had setup an stage in the garden for our introductory game. We all were having fun when I saw a guy came towards Ava and hugged her, he is Nick.

Ava's POV:

We were all chitchatting on random stuff, when someone tapped on my shoulder I turned to see its Nick, he hugged me and I complied. Being besties since childhood, it's normal thing to hug when we meet each other. He joined my group, continuing chitchat. After a while I could see Ace being in sour mood. I don't know what's the reason. But one thing I had observed whenever Nicks around, he has a 180 degrees mood swing. Is he jealous of our friendship or something else. No wonder back in hometown also, People around us thought that Nick is my boyfriend but it's all a lie and Cassie knows it. Even my parents once asked me about our bond and after few hours I was able to convince them that it's just friendship and nothing else.

Around 8:15 pm we all gathered in the garden for first years introduction. The game started after Luke giving out the rules of the game.

"Hey everyone, Luke Johnson here. I am in second year" he started.

"I'll be the anchor for the introductory game. Now without wasting any time let's began with the game details, we have two bowls, one contains all first year girls names chits in it and the other has boys names. My friends over there, Ryan and Reva, the host of this party, will pick an random chit from each bowl, and accordingly, the girl and boy has to come on the stage and introduce themselves which includes, your hobbies. Each one of you have to show your talent depending on your hobbies" he concluded and joined us.

We do have very talented first years this time. Everyone was good in one or the other thing. Some were good in sports, others in arts, dance, music, acting and singing while the rest smart ones were good with general knowledge. Everyone enjoyed the introductory game a lot, I could see even the freshers were enjoying it.

The game got over around 10pm. After the game, everyone was back in the house and the loud music was setup and all started dancing and getting high. Our group began dancing with others. The music was loud, and with all drinking I was getting bit hazy. But I started grooving to the song beats. I was with Lily and Reva around me but later we all got scattered and at one point was dancing with Nick and in other moment, I was with Ace. While dancing, the music got bit slow and my gaze fall on Ace's, we were staring intensely, Ace grabbed me by my waist and we started moving in sync. The moment was magical, we were so close to each other. It was like another world, where only we two exist, dancing and enjoying.

Nick's POV:

The party was great, the house was well decorated and the highlight was the introductory game. I enjoyed it a lot.

At the end, the real party began, all getting drunk and dancing on the floor. I too started dancing with the crowd. I saw Ava was dancing with her friends but later everyone got dispersed and I went to
her, she saw me, a smile crept on her lips and we started dancing togather. It was fun but after some time I could see a boy came in between us, and started dancing with Ava. It was Ace. I could see the way they were staring at each other the whole time, something's brewing between them. The bond seems intense. I had noticed, whenever I was around Ava, Ace was always little hostile towards me unlike her other friends.
