Y/N POV:

it was finally new years!!

i mean i did like halloween and all that but shit it's been so problematic for me.

i definitely need a new start and nothing will ruin it. especially with a great day like yesterday and an incredible party that's going to happen there's a 50% chance everything will be excellent.

im no math expert but 50 seems pretty decent.

i wake up startled from a noise of a desk being closed, i open my eyes about to yell knowing who the noise was coming from but then i saw ron looking suspicious, and i'm sure suspicious makes me intrigued.

"ron dear can you help me with something!" molly hella from downstairs.

yes my perfect chance to see what's been making ron so secretive. i get up slowly walking making sure nobody is looking.

i look around constantly so nobody will see me too.

i hover my head above rons desk and take a glance on what's on it.

it was a letter? but it was already sealed? the address was "######" (bestie does it look like i know where that mysterious person lives 😭)

i hear steps walking up the stairs so i ran and jumped into bed perfectly on time when the door opened.

i start fake yawning and making me squint my eyes pretending i'm adapting to the light.

"good morning ron." i smile.

"morning."

i then realized something.. how the hell did i get on rons bed? i remember i fell asleep on his shoulder?

"i carried you to my room if your wondering."

"OH."

"yeah." he says chuckling.

"well are you excited." i say now getting off the bed standing.

"for what?"

"for the new year!" i say excitingly.

"ehhh..."

"you don't care?!"

"no i don't it's actually pretty boring."

"damn ronald."

"what i mean i could have a new year every day except it would be new day. i could practically wait for a new day to up come by staying up until 12."

"you kinda got a point there.."

"exactly."

"but-"

"and there's also that stupid part where everyone shouts "HaPpY nEw YeAr." and immediately kisses the other beside them!"
