Soon enough it'll happen. Ethan will ask Addilyn out and I can't wait. He told me he liked her, like I couldn't already tell, and she likes him. I've known they would be the perfect couple since day one.
I hid behind the corner of the school with a confetti popper in my hand. Waiting for an answer.
"Addilyn, I've loved hanging out with you and I think you're absolutely perfect. Okay I'm going to just say this before I mess something up. Will you be my girlfriend?" Ethan rambled on until the last part.
Ethan stood facing me and Addilyn with her back towards me.
I'm so excited, I know she'll say yes.
Instead of Addilyn saying anything she kissed Ethan.
I almost forgot to pop the confetti popper, but I did.
She broke the kiss and gave me a weird look then she laughed.
Ethan still looked puzzled.
"That meant a yes goofball!" I yelled to Ethan and he smiled.
They're so perfect. I can't wait to see how this goes.
