Why?

Why do they stare at me in this way?

There are many more wonderful things in nature to behold.

Or they could spend some time communing with the powers above.

I know they have emotions for I have seen them laugh and I have seen them cry.

But, if only that was all I ever saw.

Oh my god there he goes again; the kid is picking his nose.

Stop you cannot do that, too late, the little brat ate it.

From what I have seen, it forms an essential part of his diet.

Here they come, bags of crisps and peanuts.

As usual, the crumbs are everywhere, the mice will be well fed tonight.

If it were possible, I would be sick, that kids at it again.

Wiping his snotty greasy hands, on the arm of the sofa.

Wow, some light relief they have packed the kids off to bed.

It will not be long before the kids are snoring, for they have slipped some brandy into drinks.

Out came the beer, they will soon be as p****d as newts.

Empty bottles and cans are soon strewn across the floor.

No, no, they are watching p**n, I now know extremely well what comes next.

I cannot take this anymore, how I wish I could switch myself off.

Just as well I have learned to meditate.

So, for the next few hours, I will go transcendental.

And escape into another world, that is free of humans.

A world, free of television.

Yippee, no more reality shows and exposure to their interpersonal habits.
