People say to write what you're feeling because that's the emotion you know the best. Right now, I feel numb; feel cold and lifeless. I feel like all of my fears coat my skin like sticky sweat, but I'm too tired to recognize it, and too tired to do anything about it.
Then when I do write these things, I'm told to be happy. Told to smile through the pain.
Tell that to my pen.
