"A human? Myself? An adeptus?" Confusion was written all over [Name]'s face. He's probably embarrassing himself infront of Zhongli but then again, this man is just making everything confusing.

Zhongli lets out a heartfelt chuckle, putting a hand on his heart as he then faced [Name]. Shit, now he's laughing at [Name]. Cold sweat was all over [Name] as he took a deep breath and tried to calm himself. Zhongli seems to notice [Name]'s uncomfortable feeling as he then coughs and puts on a reassuring smile.

"I supposed it's been too long.."

The sky was painted in bright orange and pink, and the clouds seem to move slowly as the light on the world begins to fade.

The floating island was decked out in flowers as a remembrance, and the gentle blue of the flowers swirled in the breeze. The dancing was accompanied by the soft humming of a lullaby, which appears to be in tune.

The rosebuds of the glaze lilies began to fade as they bloomed gloriously in the moonlight. The Archon's white linen reflects in the pond water. Rex Lapis didn't even bother to clean the dirt off the bottom of the robe.

His dry bloodied hand brushed over the flower, reaching the stem. Before enjoying the smell, he carefully plucks the blossom from the ground and delicately moves it. Rex Lapis' thoughts was everything but nice, despite the appearance of a lovely encounter.

Grief, rage, regret, hatred, and anything else in the book. His glistening gaze was drawn to the center stone table.

He found himself sitting at their favorite spot, but for the first time, he was sitting alone. He then places the flower in front of him, rotating it. It was a memorial to the person he lost.

The remaining adepti stood back and observed as their companion grieved. It had been a few years since the Archon War, although for some it felt like days, while Morax thought it had been decades. He buried his head in despair, realizing that he had made a mistake.

To become overly attached. It was difficult to return to daily routines after they were no longer there.

He stood up as he generated a ball of light as he felt the adepti's gazes left him.

Something he secretly created as well as something Guizhong has left him with, something that has the potential to bring her back. Something that the Celestia gods forbade. To create a vessel for the dead.

To create a vessel for the dead
