Chapter 27

The next morning it was Camila's birthday. So I woke up early to make her breakfast in bed, getting out I slipped on a pair of briefs and sports bra and a tanktop. I walked out into the kitchen getting everything out.

I made her pancakes in the shape of hearts, orange juice, toast then cut up bananas and strawberries. I set everything on the tray before taking it into our room. Entering I found her still sleeping cuddling into the pillow. I placed the tray on the bed where I knew it wouldn't fall, generally shaking her.

"Cami...wake up" I spoke softly she let out a soft moan se for sitting up exposing her bare chest. "Happy birthday gorgeous" I smiled placing a loving kiss on her forehead. "I made you breakfast"

"Baby you didnt-"

"I wanted to, so don't argue"

She let out a sigh with a cracked smile before saying thank you.

"Can you pass me a shirt?" She asked, without saying anything I slipped my shirt off over my head and handed it to her. "I mean a clean one"she giggled

"It is clean"

"I mean can you hand me at least one of your t shirts you tanks show my boobs"

"Oh Cami" I said before pulling out a random t shirt from my drawer and tossing it to her. "So complicated"

While she was eating her breakfast I sat next to her kissing her neck, cheek, lips, temple, or lips every so often. Or letting her that I love her, feeding her pieces of bananas and strawberries. Just us in peace and quiet, until the pups came running in while moonlight had something in his mouth. My eyes turned whide when I saw he had the little box in his mouth. I wasn't able to get it back until Camila had taken it away from him. When I tried to take it from her she had ready opened it.

"B-babe is-is this what I think it is?" She asked looking down at the small box.

"I'm taking you two back to the shelter later" I said looking at Colton and moonlight, they seemed a but scared so they both ran out. I let out a sigh before speaking. "It's a promise ring, maybe one day I can replace it with an engagement one. I was going to give it to you tonight but those little fricking ruiners butted in"

"I love you so much" she threw her arms around my neck hugging me tightly.

"I love you too cami" I told her before placing a kiss on her forehead. I took the ring from the box sliding it onto her finger.

"It fits perfect" she commented

"I may or may not have measured your finger while you were sleeping last week..."

"That sounds like something you would do" she giggled placing her lips on my cheek. "Thank you"

"Anything for my princess"

While the girls were filming their video for Worth It, I was walking around set waiting for them to be finished since me watching Camila dance would not be healthy for me. I chose to head back to the girls dressing room to do Camila's birthday message.

The picture I posted with it was one where foreheads were resting against each other's smiling and next to it was one of me kissing her nose while she was laughing. I smiled after posting it then set my phone down next to me.

After a while I headed to the lunch room to get something to eat. Faceing the lunch table serving myself food I felt a weight on my back.

"Your birthday message made me cry!" I head Camila told me hiding her face in between my neck while she was on my back.

"Nooo don't cry I'm sorry that wasn't my intention Camz I'm so sorry"

"God I don't even deserve you" she said before getting off my back and facing me.

"Don't you fucking say that Cam! If anything I'm the one that doesn't deserve you, I've never dated anyone as amazing as you are you're so kind hearted, and so genuine, I can't believe you're real or mine. I feel like this is just a dream and I'll wake up the next morning and we won't even know each other or you'll be dating Austin, I just feel like all of this is too good to be true, YOU'RE too good to be true"
