Chapter 9

THREE YEARS LATER 

Morning 7 AM, Hye-Na's apartment

*RING* *RING* *RING*

"Ugh... it's morning already?" Hye-Na said as she wakes up and turned off her alarm from her phone. After she turned off the alarm, she saw a calendar notification on her phone that said, Sightseeing on the beach. "Oh yeah, that's today huh," Hye-Na said while looking at the notification. After looking at it, Hye-Na gets up from her bed and makes her way to the bathroom to get ready. After she's done getting ready, she looks herself in the mirror to make sure that her outfit is to her liking.

"Yeah this looks good," Hye-Na said as she looks while still checking herself in the mirror. Suddenly, Hye-Na's phone rang and when the one who calls her is Yeo-Ryeong. 

Yeo-Ryeong : "Hi Hye-Na, you ready?"

Hye-Na : " Yeah, I just finished getting ready. I'm on my way to your apartment right now"

Yeo-Ryeong : "Ah, Ji-Ho and I are in Dan-I's apartment right now. You should go here instead"

Hye-Na : "Ok, I'll head there then. Wait for me"

Hye-Na hangs up, picks up her white sling bag, and leaves her apartment. After Hye-Na arrives at the front door of Dan-I's apartment, she rang the doorbell a few times and the door was opened by Dan-I's mother who warmly welcomes Hye-Na "Oh hello Hye-Na dear, come in. Yeo-Ryeong and Ji-Ho are in the living room, what would you like to drink?" Dan-I's mother said to Hye-Na. Hye-Na shook her head to Dan-I's mother offer and said, "It's ok aunty, I've already had breakfast anyway, so I'm just gonna wait in the living room". "Well, suit yourself then. If you need anything, I'll be in the kitchen," Dan-I's mother said as she makes her way towards the kitchen.

After Dan-I's mother left, Hye-Na makes her way to the living room to see Yeo-Ryeong sitting on the sofa alone. "That's odd, Aunty said you were here with Ji-Ho," Hye-Na asked Yeo-Ryeong in confusion, Yeo-Ryeong turns around and immediately shows a happy expression after seeing Hye-Na.
