George's POV

I walked off when I talked to Clay and I couldn't stop smiling anymore. It made me a bit happier than I was before and I walked to Darryl, sitting down next to them with a smile on my face. Darryl started giggling and they softly pushed my shoulder. 'You're so in love with Clay.'

'I'm not in love, I just like him a lot.'

'And you think he doesn't like you? He was waiting for you.'

'I'm sure he wasn't waiting for me, it was just a coincidence that he was also there at that time.'

'Sure, believe what you want, but I bet you so much money that he likes you.'

'He doesn't like me, leave me alone.' I still liked them telling me Clay liked me though. It gave me a small bit of hope and always made my stomach turn a lot. I liked Clay so much and I loved talking to him this morning. I was hoping he would text me, I would maybe also trust him with my problems.

I had been awake the whole night since the bully kept texting and calling me. When I woke up in the morning I acted like I slept fine and I didn't include the three hours I had been crying.

Texts like: just kill yourself as fast as possible, you're so ugly, dumb and fat, you should look up suicide methods and multiple pictures of me with inappropriate texts were spread online. More people started looking weirdly at me and the bullying got worse everyday, even though it had just been going on for a few.

I looked up as I saw Clay walking into the hallway Darryl and I were sitting. Clay was walking with Sapnap, but he immediately ignored him when he saw me. He smiled at me and I saw his cheeks heat up very slightly. I giggled and Darryl saw.

'You are both so in love,' they giggled. 'Just kiss already.'

'He doesn't like me,' I said as I dramatically paused between every word. 'And even if he did, I wouldn't randomly go kiss him.'

'Well, ask him to be your boyfriend first then.'

I rolled my eyes and smiled as I saw Clay and Sapnap sit down in front of me. Clay was staring at his hands and constantly looking up shortly to see me it looked like. I saw Sapnap look at Clay and he smiled shortly. Would he have realised the same thing as me? The fact Clay wasn't straight.

But if Clay wasn't straight, would he really like me? He did blush a lot and he did stutter, but I didn't know how he normally was. Maybe he just stuttered or maybe he just blushed fast, some people had that. I moved forwards slightly to hear Clay talking to Sapnap, maybe he always just stuttered.

'Have you done your homework?' Sapnap asked Clay.

Clay shrugged. 'No, I literally haven't done it in like a few days now.'

'What are you so busy with?'

'Nothing important.'

I could see Clay was lying and I also noticed he wished to talk about it. He had his mouth opened already to tell Sapnap something, but he closed it again. He looked at his hands and Sapnap kept talking to him, but he was completely zoned out. It happened more and more that Clay was just staring at one spot. He was calmer and quieter everyday and it worried me quite a bit.

Clay leaned back against the wall and I saw him holding his hand against his stomach a little, curling himself up after. 'I don't feel well,' Clay muttered as he stood up. Sapnap stood up immediately as well and looked concerned.

'Leave me alone, please,' Clay said as he ran to the bathroom. Sapnap sat down in confusion, but since he didn't run after Clay, I did. I entered the bathroom and looked around me, I didn't see Clay so I guess he was in a stall.

'Clay, are you alright?'

'Ye-,' he started as I suddenly heard gagging noises.

'Are you throwing up? Can you open the door?'

It stayed quiet and I heard a small click of the door opening. I ran inside and kneeled down next to him. 'Are you alright? Are you sick?'

'I m-must be,' Clay muttered.

I grabbed some toilet paper to wipe his mouth with and I opened his bag to give him some water after that. He drank it slowly and I flushed the toilet. 'Do you know why you had to throw up?'

Clay shrugged. 'Not sure. I just have been taking some medication, but I think I accidentally took too much.'

'What medication do you use?'

'For my ADHD, I only forgot I already took them and took them again.'

He was lying, he was clearly lying. I didn't want to say anything about it and I smiled at him. 'Are you alright or would you rather go home?'

Clay seemed to startle a little by me saying home and he smiled. 'No, don't worry. I can stay here, I'm feeling better already. I think my stomach couldn't handle it today.'

I nodded slowly. 'Please, be careful. It's dangerous to take too much medication, you could damage your stomach or kidneys.'

'It's fine, no worries. Thanks for checking on me.'

'No problem, I didn't feel like you were alright.'

Clay smiled and he stood up slowly. 'I have to go to class, but thank you again.'

I smiled at him and so did he. He walked away after and I walked back to Darryl to go to our class. Darryl was grinning at me again.

'Sure, mister I'm not in love.'

I rolled my eyes at them. 'We have maths.'

Darryl giggled softly and I heard my phone buzz. I quickly checked it since I had blocked all Discord, Instagram and all accounts on the apps I got texted on. My face heated up immediately when I saw who sent me a text.
