Well, it didn't go as planned but at least we've been introduced.

"Hey, you know my name," Ray stopped and looked back at me.

"Is that weird? We're in the same class so I remember everyone's names," I answered.

"Really?" He kept walking, pulling me along with him, "You really are a kind person Sonic," he gave me a bright smile and pulled me all the way to the boys' changing room, "Are you going to shower?"

"Eh? N-no. It was just a water bottle, I'll dry off," I didn't exactly want to change in front of him.

"I'll wait here. You should change into your gym clothes until your uniform dries. Okay?"

I wound up changing into the tracksuit we had for a uniform, "I'm done."

"Here, I got you a bag to put your wet clothes in," he greeted me with a plastic bag.

"You didn't have to," I took the bag from him and put my wet uniform inside. I took my lunch back from him and we walked back to the classroom. So long as the next part goes well, I should have Ray as my new friend in no time!

"I wanted to be kind is all. Let's eat- Ah!" We came back to discover his sandwich completely soaked on his desk, "My lunch!"

"Sorry about that," the two alphas were currently cleaning up their mess, "We got you a can of tea. There wasn't any bread left at the lunch stall," he handed Ray the can.

"It's okay..." I knew for a fact that Ray only ate a single sandwich for his lunch every day. This was why my plan would work perfectly.

"Ray, come sit with me," held up my lunch box, "We can share mine, I had gym class earlier so I don't need to worry. And I have lots of snacks."

"Really?" He followed me to my desk and I opened my lunch box. Thank chaos it didn't get ruined earlier. Everything was still perfectly in order. From the plum rice balls to the orange chicken, tempura shrimp, and rolled omelet. I wasn't sure what Ray would like so I went with all of the favorites my current friends had, "Woah! It looks amazing! Did you make this yourself?!"

"Yep, fresh this morning," I pulled out a disposable pair of wooden chopsticks from my bag and handed them to him.

"Sonic~ I want a sweet plum riceball..." Amy whined.

"You're the reason I have to make four of them for a bento box," I handed Amy two of them. She always stole some items from my lunch box each day.

"Yes! Your rice balls are always the best!" She happily ate as I split the rest of the food with Ray.

"I wish I knew how to cook. I'd love to know how to make a sakura rice ball," Ray smiled as he ate.

"A sakura rice ball?" I kept an eye on how much he ate, I had to be sure he ate at least half.

"Yeah, they say if you make a Sakura riceball and give it to someone their face will change. If it's your true love their face is supposed to turn pink like the petals of a cherry blossom tree. If they don't turn pink, they aren't your true love. It's just a story, but I've always been curious," he explained a cure fairy tale to use.

"Sakura rice balls... I'll make them," I stated.

"You will!" They looked at me.

"Yeah, I'll use my picnic bento box and make a big lunch for all of us tomorrow. So be sure to sit with us tomorrow okay, Ray."

"Yeah! I will!"

---

I did it... I relaxed as I lay in bed after shopping. I had gotten Ray interested in me at least. I just had to make him riceballs for our lunch tomorrow.

"I'm gonna have to get up earlier than usual for this recipe," I had gone shopping to get everything I'd need to make them. Soon we'd have pink, fluffy rice balls for lunch. I planned to make a cucumber salad and some teriyaki to go with it.

I hope Ray starts to hang out on his own soon. If he really is a trustworthy friend I'll be relying on him.

I just hope he can keep the secret.
