"Thank chaos~ My headache stopped," I felt much better now that the throbbing pain in my head had vanished. My body was finally at a normal temperature, "This feels so much better~!" I stretched and lay on my desk.

"You had a headache?" Amy put a can down on my desk.

"Yeah, I got one this morning. I think I was just a little dehydrated. I felt better after some water," I grabbed the can, she had gotten a can of black tea with honey, "What's this for?"

"It's a new flavor I wanted to try. Want some?" she opened it and took a sip.

"I'll try it," I handed her a strawberry candy from my bag, "Here, you can have this."

"Thanks! Why do you always have sweets?" She unwrapped the plastic wrapper and started eating the candy.

"Sometimes Tails get too hungry to wait for dinner after school. I keep a few emergency snacks in my bag for him," I took the can as she handed it to me, "How'd the tea turn out?"

"It's pretty strong for a cold brew. I should make some for my next tea party with Vanilla and Cream," she started scribbling in her pink notebook.

"You like it then," I took a sip. It just tasted like bitter water with honey to me.

"Your face is telling me you aren't much of a fan," she laughed.

"No... not really," I handed it back to her, "I'll stick with juice if you don't mind."

"I'll get you a can of milk during lunch if you want," she smiled as she sipped away the contents of the can.

"No thanks, I'll stick to water. Besides, they don't have the one I like," I couldn't help but get an anxious feeling as Shadow walked into the classroom.

"Sonic," Amy grabbed my hand, "Ignore him. He hasn't said anything, right?"

"Yeah, he hasn't," I had already told Amy and the others what happened with Shadow. For now, we decided to ignore it until he acted. So long as I didn't agitate him that risked anyone finding out, I could only assume I was safe.

I have to move on with my plan. I need to befriend him this time for sure.

He walked into the classroom and took his seat. I'd use lunch as the perfect excuse today.

"Sonic~" Amy poked my cheek as I grabbed my lunch box, "Good luck."

"Thanks," I had purposely packed myself a bigger lunch than usual for this. I took a breath and walked right up to his desk, "Hi-"

"You idiot, you're supposed to move like this!" I did my best to ignore the two rough-housing alphas behind me.

"Hi, Ray. Would you like to-"

"Look out!" It was sudden, but I was knocked to the ground and completely wet.

"Ow..." my lunchbox was luckily still in my hands.

"Dude look what you did!" It was the two alphas from before, they had knocked me and themselves onto the ground, spilling one of their drinks all over me.

"Are you alright?" I felt so lucky as I heard his voice. Ray had gotten out of his seat and held out his hand.

"Y-yeah. I was trying to ask if we could have lunch together. Hahaha..." I let him help me up and I held out my lunch box.

"With me?" I could tell he was looking at my pin, "I'd like that but..." he took my hand, "We should dry you off first. Come on."

"Woah!" He pulled me out of the classroom. Amy was giving a thumbs-up as we left.
