Y/N's POV

I felt someone shaking my shoulder somewhat roughly, causing me to groggily open my eyes.

Everything around me looked like different colored blobs trying to mix together, but failing miserably.

When my vision started to clear, I saw my classmate and very good friend, Mondo, standing next to my desk, and hovering over me.

To my surprise, he didn't have his jacket it on, and was wearing a beater shirt. That's when I acknowledged the weight on my shoulders.

The weight of his jacket was comforting to me. It was almost like someone was hugging me. But it couldn't replicate the feeling of a real person, so the feeling was bittersweet.

I glanced around the classroom, and saw that no one else was inside the room. I let out a soft sigh. I had fallen asleep in class again.

"Yo." Mondo said as I sat up.

"Hey." I let out a soft yawn as I stood up from my desk.

"What's been up with you lately? You've been fallin' asleep in class more often." I glanced away from him, and out of one of the windows.

The sky was grey, and there was no sign of the sun coming out in the near future. In fact, the sky seemed to get darker and darker with each passing second. The school building seemed to shake as thunder rolled outside.

"I just haven't been getting enough sleep lately. Anyway, I'll see you later." I quickly dismissed his question, and placed his jacket in his hand.

"Y-Yeah. see ya, I guess." He seemed a little confused, so I gave him a little smile to try and reassure him before leaving the room.

There were a few students sprinkled throughout the hallway, and they were talking amongst themselves as I walked by. None of them even spared a glance at me.

It was as if I was invisible. As if I was trapped in my own little world. It was a gloomy world, just like it was outside. There was no sunlight. No happiness. No sound. And no way to escape.

As I walked out of the main doors, I could hear the faint sound of rain. I just stood there, and looked up at the sky, not caring that my entire body was getting wet.

"I'm glad I got out of there fast enough. I don't need anyone to worry about me. I also didn't want to look weak in front of Mondo. He's probably got his own problems to deal with anyways..."

I started to slowly trudge my way back to girl's dorm area. I didn't have an umbrella, but I was completely fine with it.

After a few minutes, I couldn't even feel the cold rain anymore. I looked around to see that I wasn't near the dorms. Instead, I was at the large fountain. I took a seat on the edge of it, and looked inside the rippling water.

"I don't really pass this place during the day, and yet I ended up here. It doesn't really matter though.

Maybe I can just stay out here for the rest of the day. I can get sick, and even skip a few days of class. I would skip, but Taka would probably com find me, which I don't want."

I let out another sigh as I continued to look at my reflection, which kept getting distorted with each new raindrop that fell into the water.

At some point, I noticed that the water was becoming more and more distorted, meaning that it was raining harder than it had been earlier.
