"So, how was the callback?" Ana asks me.
I did the callback audition yesterday after school and, "I think I nailed it." I tell them, smiling excitedly.
"So you're gonna get the call soon?" Beck asks me.
"I'm not sure about that, they haven't said anything." I answer.
"You'll get it." Jade answers and smirks at me. I give her a hopeful smile.
"Who're you auditioning against anyway?" Ana asks me.
I take a deep breath, "Raelynn Forsket." I smile sarcastically.
"Wait, Raelynn, the cheerleader, Raelynn?" Beck asks me.
"Yep, that's her." I answer.
"Ooh, she's good." Jade comments.
"Yeah, no shit, Sherlock." I groan out.
"Oh, see, my sister's tongue got all big and swollen and here I am." We approach Tori when she is talking to a guy that looks really familiar. She laughs awkwardly at him and he returns it.
"Dean?" I ask him hesitantly. I remember that he is Tori's ex but I cannot remember his name for the life in me.
"Danny." He corrects me.
"Danny, right. Hey, how are you? I haven't seen you in, like, a year." I smile at him.
"Yeah, I'm good. Lia, right?" He points at me.
"Yes, I am. You are better at names than me." I chuckle at him.
"How are you? How's your boyfriend?" He asks me back.
He knows that I have a boyfriend because I talked to him once when I was waiting for Tori at Sherwood. "Oh, I can't believe you remember that I had a boyfriend. That's more to say than my own family." I turn to Tori with a raised eyebrow and she rolls her eyes at me, "But we broke up." I gesture to myself and Beck.
"Sup'?." Beck smiles tightly at him, putting his hands in his pockets.
"Oh, sorry." He apologizes nervously.
"So who's that?" Jade points at him.
"Uh, this is Danny." Tori introduces him.
"Hey." Danny greets her.
"Hi." Ana replies, smiling warmly at him.
"Why are you talking to Tori?" Jade asks him again, making Tori look offended.
"He goes to my old school." Tori answers her.
"Sherwood." Danny adds.
"Wait for it." I whisper to Jade.
"He, he was my boyfriend." Tori says again.
"Girlfriend." Danny points at her before looking down.
