"ALL of you listen! Kung ayaw ninyong mawalan ng trabaho umayos kayo! I didn't pay you para umupo at makipagchismisan lang dito sa kumpanya ko!"

It's too early in the morning but I'm already not in the mood. Who will be, kung maaabutan mong nag-chi-chismisan lang ang mga empleyado mo? It's fucking 9:00 o'clock in the morning, too early for this bullshits. Kung hindi pa ako bumaba dito sa floor nila malamang buong araw walang nagawa 'tong mga pulpol na 'to. Nagkamali pa ata ako sa pagpili sa mga 'to.

"You!" I shifted my gaze at Engineer Meneses. "Did you finish the site development plan for Batangas project?" I saw the fear in her eyes. She's a new employee and a new breed of Civil Engineer. I hired her dahil maganda ang stats niya. All of my employees are personally screened by me. Dani will send their CVs to me and I'll do the interview online. Ayoko sa hindi magagaling, walang lugar sa kumpanya ko ang mga b*bo.

"I will submit later Engr. Ortega." sagot nito sa akin. I'm using Ortega now, my mother's family name. I want to keep my real identity from anybody. All of my company's transaction is under Ortega's. Hindi sa ikinahihiya ko ang apelyido ng Papa ko, I just want to keep my life private. I'm proud being a Mendez, and I will be forever grateful to that family name.

"Later? Didn't I tell you yesterday that I want to see it first thing in the morning?" halos umusok na ang ilong ko sa naging sagot niya.

"Sorry po Ma'am, may ni-revised kasi ako..." everyone's looking at her now kaya parang naiiyak na ito. But the hell I care! Kasalanan niya at hindi niya tinapos ang utos ko.

"Do your work properly Engr. Meneses, I don't want incompetent and inefficient employees in my company. Next time you'll do it I will not think twice to terminate you!" I said in a warning tone.

"All of you, go back to work! Kung ayaw ninyong sundin ang mga patakaran ko, the door is wide open! You are free to leave my company!"

This is my daily routine, bumababa ako rito sa floor ng mga engineers ko to check kung maayos ba nilang ginagawa ang mga trabaho nila. I don't trust the CCTV I installed in my office to monitor them. Mas gusto kong makita nila ang pagmumukha ko. Mas gusto kong makita ang takot sa mukha nila tuwing nakikita nila ako.

I know these Engineers hate me, that they even call me names I couldn't imagine. But who give a damn? Just make sure that they're doing their work properly and we're good dahil kung hindi goodbye na lang sa kanila. Ilang engineers and architects na ang tinanggal ko dito sa kompanya ko lalo na yung mga pulpol at wala sa tamang hwisyo.

If I feel that they're no longer useful, I'm terminating them immediately. Bakit ko pa patatagalin kung doon din naman ang punta nila. There's no room for second chances for me. Once is enough, kaya dapat ipakita nila sa akin ang best nila.

I don't tolerate employees who's not doing their best. If their performance is poor, then they don't belong in my team. As easy as that. It's briefed and explained to them from the start, para wala silang mairason na hindi nila alam.

I don't accept room for improvement 'coz the moment you step in my company, you should be well equipped and knowledgeable enough. Hindi ito paaralan para dito ka pa matuto. My company is for excellent people only, that's the standard I'm inculcating in their minds.

The salary is high, and the benefits are good. Kaya kahit monster Boss ako walang may lakas loob na mag-resign sa kumpanya ko. They are well provided. At tama lang na ganito ako sa kanila. Hindi magiging successful ang kumpanya ko kung naging mahina ako.

There's no room for weak people here.

I admit, I don't have good relationship with my employees. Employee-employer relationship is enough, nothing else.
