⚠️// smut, yes, it's happening again.

Dating Freya was different from dating Astrid for several reasons both good and bad.

1. With Astrid they had to keep everything a secret, with Freya they were public. Surprisingly Casper was fine with their breakup, being tied down wasn't really his vibe.

2. With Freya everything was very formal, his parents had been thrilled (she must have told them) to hear that they had started dating, and invited them to dinner. Regulus couldn't imagine bringing home Astrid to his parents for dinner.

3. Hanging out with Astrid was a lot funnier than hanging out with Freya; Freya liked studying and exercising and Astrid liked to make jokes and lazy around.

4. Freya was more available; he didn't find himself waiting to hang out with her, instead, they were almost constantly together. But at the same time, he liked being alone and not having to make conversation all the time. With Astrid, he never ran out of things to say.

5. Astrid liked the way he looked; Freya was constantly critiquing his clothes and the way he styled his hair and the number of rings he wore. It seemed a bit much but he didn't mind if it made her happy.

Overall he didn't know which girl was better to date, and he didn't really want to compare the two.

But on Friday evening, when Freya was ranting yet again about The Dark Lord, he couldn't help but think about the fact that if Astrid and him were still together they would have been at Remus' birthday party which was happening right now.

For the last couple of days, Astrid threw herself in planning, both Remus' birthday party and the Polyjuice Prank which they were on track with.

And now the party now about to start, Astrid couldn't help but think about what Regulus was doing.

She had been doing pretty good for the last week, spending most of her time with her friends, when she was with them she didn't think about him.

But when they weren't around he always found a way to crawl back into her mind.

Astrid had no clue why, it wasn't like he even thought about her anymore.

A part of Astrid tried to think of what she would do if he begged for her back, in the words of Josephine who had advised Astrid about boys when she was younger  -translated and censored- "Tell him to bleep off and kick him in the bleeping bleep balls."

"I've set up the projector," James said as Astrid ticked off her list.

It was a sort of a tradition for one marauder to have to plan the entire event themselves, the marauder was picked by Lily who had half the time had no clue what she was doing when James asked her to do seemingly stupid things.

Lily's random choice made it that Astrid had to plan Remus' birthday and seeing at it was his last birthday at Hogwarts it had to be special.

Over the previous years Remus' party always ended up with everyone drunk and making out, but Astrid didn't want to just do what they had done the previous years.

Instead, she had sent Josephine a list asking her to buy a list of supplies, of which was a projector, some of Remus' favourite movies, and a popcorn machine.

With a ton of help from Lily and Mary the only people who understood muggle technology apart from Astrid, who had a million and one things to do, the boys managed to set up the main piece of equipment in the common room.

Astrid also had a couple of helpers from the younger years who were sad to see Remus go and wanted to help with the party.

The common room was filled with students setting up decorations and laying out food and drinks.
