You begged your father.
Y/N: Dad, can I just please stay here in Los Angeles?
John (Let’s pretend that’s your dad’s name okay?): Sweetheart, you can’t. We shouldn’t be apart from each other. We’re a family.
Y/N: I know dad, but I just can’t leave this place right now.
Anna (Let’s pretend that’s your mom’s name okay?): Sorry honey, but we should move to Oklahoma tomorrow. Your dad’s friend offered him a really great job there. It’s a blessing to us. We shouldn’t say no to it.
Y/N: Okay.
You went up to your room. You lay on your bed and think how much better Oklahoma is than Los Angeles. Okay, to be honest, you have no idea cause you still haven’t reached Oklahoma. You remembered what they told you.
“We shouldn’t be apart from each other. We’re a family.”
“Your dad’s friend offered him a really great job there. It’s a blessing to us. We shouldn’t say no to it.”
These words made you change your mind. Maybe there’s a good life waiting in Oklahoma for you and your family. And what if it’s better than Los Angeles? You’ll totally regret not going there. So you started packing up your things.
While you’re packing your things, someone suddenly knocked on your door.
Y/N: Come in.
It’s your mom. She’s pretty shock to see your things already prepared for tomorrow.
Anna: You packed your things already?
Y/N: Yeah.
Anna: I thought you don’t want to go.
Y/N: Mom, as what you said, dad’s “soon to be job” is a blessing to us so why not? Besides, it might be great there.
Anna: Aww, thank you (Y/N). I love you so much. *Hugs you*
Y/N: I love you too mom.
Anna: So dinner’s ready. Go down okay?
Y/N: Okay
--Next day--
Anna: Good morning (Y/N)! Excited for today?
Y/N: Yeah. I wonder how Oklahoma looks like.
John: By the way, (Y/N), I already found a school for you in Oklahoma. It’s called Cheyenne Middle School. Don’t worry, it’s a good school.
Y/N: That’s so fast dad!
John: It’s where Scott’s son is studying so I think it’s good to enroll you too there.
Y/N: Thanks dad.
After eating breakfast, you did your last goodbyes in LA.
Then you went to the airport for your flight. It’s kinda excited cause you’ve never been to Oklahoma.
It took several hours before you reached OKC.
