Chapter 59

Lucien's POV

Graduation is so fucking long I feel like I'm gonna die of boredom. I've been on my phone for most of it in an effort to not fall asleep

I've gotten numerous texts from my uncle to "get the fuck off my phone" which I ignore since I'm about to beat Jonah in pool.

Since our last names aren't anywhere near each other we can't sit together. We've just been playing iMessage games

"Lucien Toussaint"

Shit it's my turn already. I get up and put my phone in my pocket and walk onto the stage. I grab my fake diploma and shake the principals hand. I was also supposed to shake the assistant principal and dean's hand but I don't like them so I ignored their hands and went back to my seat.

When I tell you I could feel my Uncle burning holes in the back of my head. I looked back to confirm how pissed he was.

I'm definitely gonna get an earful later because of my shitty behavior.

I still wasn't paying attention because out of nowhere all the seniors stood up. Then I heard the Valedictorian telling us to move our tassel to the other side. I did it sitting because it was way too hot for me to be standing

Everyone cheered and threw their caps

After 5 minutes students started clearing out of the aisles. I finally got up and made my way to my family

"Congrats Lucien!" Sophie hugged me

"Thanks."

"It was so cool when you ignored those two old people. I'm gonna do that when I graduate too!" Jackie laughed

"No you're not. It's enough I had to endure Lucien's disrespectful behavior. I'm not experiencing it twice." Uncle told him

"It wasn't that bad Oncle, lighten up. I still got my fake diploma so you can get your pictures."

"We're gonna talk about this later." I nodded

"Time for pictures!"

After too many fucking pictures we could finally leave. I carpooled with Jonah to graduation so right now we're jamming to loud ass music in my car.

"So is Louise's whole family going to dinner?"

"Yeah Raphael is best friends with Louise's mom so they're all coming."

"So Londyn will be there?" he rolled his eyes

"Yeah she will. Is that a problem?"

"I just don't like her." he shrugged

"Why?"

"Because she's a conniving and lying bitch." he spat

"How so?" I asked genuinely not knowing why he hates her

"We used to be close friends but then she outed me for being Bi so she could gain popularity. It backfired on her, but since then I don't fuck with her in the slightest."

I couldn't imagine Londyn doing that

"That's fucked but can you do me a favor and not mess with her at all?"

"Why because you can't fuck Louise if she's mad about her sister. Louise doesn't even like her so I'm good."

"She asked me to look out for Londyn this summer because she's nervous about you. I'm not going to that stupid ass camp so I'm just asking you as my friend to lay off. I don't wanna be policing you but I have Sophie and Louise telling me to check you and I don't wanna be caught in the middle of your issue with Londyn. You're my best friend so I believe you but at the same time that doesn't seem like something Londyn would do. It's none of our business so deal with it before it becomes ours. Maybe you should just talk it out with her."
