"could you hand me my glasses so i can read this right" you were trying to read off a recipe but so much was going on in the tower you couldn't seem to focus. tonight was the avengers potluck and you wanted to do something different from the previous one where you made a pie, which steve couldn't seem to get enough of, he even asked you to make more the next day when it was all gone.
as you moved around the kitchen frantically you picked up the ingredients to make buffalo chicken dip. though it was probably an easy recipe, it was your first time making it, once you finished grabbing everything you looked up to find steve staring at you, biting down on his middle finger. "steve...my glasses??"
"sorry, its just...damn you look good when you're focused"
you gave him a look and leaned forward against the counter to place a kiss on his lips before smiling softly. "i appreciate that solider, but i need those glasses now."
"right, those! anything for my favorite girl, i'll go get them"
you smiled and watched him walk off starting the oven and stove to the correct temperature.
