"Oh mighty warrior-sorcerer," cried Aula, feeling the power of the blades close to her neck.  "Please, we come peacefully." Din was giving her that look again.  "What? I'm trying to show her the respect she deserves!"

This made the woman chuckle and finally release her.  "You don't know much about the Jedi, do you?"

"No, but I knew they were super cool!"

Ahsoka led them deeper into the forest where she had set up her own camp. Soon, she and Leo were sitting together, silently.

Din was pacing.  "Can you stop pacing, you're making me nervous," Aula requested.

"Is he speaking? Do you understand him?" Din asked.

"In a way. Grogu and I can feel each other's thoughts." Leo seemed to perk up at this.

"Grogu?" repeated Din. Leo perked up at this too.

"Yes. That's his name."

"Grogu," tried Aula. He turned to her and babbled.  "We  call him Leo."

"Yes, he likes it, but it is not his name. He was raised at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Many Masters trained him over the years," Ahsoka explained. "At the end of the Clone Wars when the Empire rose to power, he was hidden. Someone took him from the Temple. Then his memory becomes dark. He seemed lost. Alone. And then you found him. I've only known one another being like this: a wise Jedi Master named Yoda."

"You got all that from him?"

"Yes, as I said, we can feel each other's thoughts.   Can he still wield the Force?" Ahsoka asked, looking at Leo - Grogu.

"You mean his powers?"

"The Force is what gives him his powers. It is an energy field," she explained.  "Created by all living things."

"Wait so like, could we use it too?" asked Aula, gesturing to herself and Din. She appeared hopeful.

"Potentially. But to wield it takes a great deal of training and discipline. And some are more sensitive to it than others."

"We've seen him do things we can't explain," Din told her. "My task was to bring him to a Jedi."

"And mine was to bring this to one." Aula reached into her pocket and produced the Kyber Crystal. "I was told it's used to make lightsabers."

"Yes."

"So this, becomes this," she said, nodding first to the crystal in Ahsoka's hand where she was examining it, then to her lightsabers.
