This one's really short, but fun. Please correct me if my Spanish is wrong, I'm still learning. (I'll put my intended translations in the comments for anyone who doesn't speak Spanish.)
Luz POV
The wind passed through my short brown hair as I enjoyed the view. I was watching the sunset atop Eda's staff. Normally Eda wouldn't have let me take Owlbert, but for some reason she had agreed when I let slip that I wanted to take Amity along with me. I sighed contentedly, turning to the right to look at the green haired girl beside me. The sunset isn't the only pretty view I have.
"Te amo, Amity..." I said quietly.
Amity, who had been lying against my shoulder, suddenly shot up and looked at me with a bright red face.
What? Did she somehow understand what I had said? My face began to heat up at the thought. Or was it just because I said her name? That's got to be it, when she heard me speak Spanish before she just looked confused, and had to ask me what it was. There's no way she could have...
"When you said you spoke Spanish, I found a book in the library and started to learn it..."
No! No way! She must hate me now, I felt like crying. But she didn't look mad, just embarrassed and a bit... excited? Plus she started learning a whole new language just for my sake...
"¿Amity?" My blush deepened, but I ignored it. "¿Quieres ser mi novia?"
"Por supuesto..." she replied softly.
