It's already 9.00AM...I'm late..... I'm always late I'm late in everything even I came to this world in DEC 31 last day of the year. That's my birthday.
In my school I never ever came to the class in time even my faculty begged me to be in time atleast once in my lifetime. Actually I'm not that bad I tried, really tried hard but can't successed. Time management is not my cup of coffee.
It's first day of my college. Some one knock my door still I'm in my top & track pants. I opened the door that's my partner in crime my bestie "Samaira Malik" The only person in this world who care for me even I'm neither perfect nor good.Her eyes popped out in shock because of my outfit.
Samaira : What are you doing darling?Are you going to college in this outfit? Wow! well I'm impressed.She said with a satirical tone as always.
Moni: That's not at all funny. I roll my eyes
She yelled at me with plenty of good**** words from her mouth then I rushed towards my bathroom take a quick shower & probably not much time so I don't even do any makeup just a cherry lipgloss. I wear a yellow top & white skirt which is covered below my knees. How can I forget my dingling yellow peacock Jimmikies I'm totally fond of earring.Then we both ran towards Samaira's Scooty & finally reached the college but not in time it's 10.00AM.
We both roaming in the corridor & finally find our class.We both are Literature major not because I didn't get good marks in my highschool but love to take this course with lots of passion in it.
Now standing infront of our class already first hour gonna over.We asked for excuse the professor wearing a white shirt tucked with his blue pants a middle aged man teaching the first day of the college for fresher's.That's great I understand how annoying the students inside the class. It's better to stand outside.He is turning his glance towards us.
Professor: Are you from this class? He said coldly.We chorus "yes sir" in unison
Professor: You both are too early you can have some coffee in cafeteria & come back to class.
That's totally beyond sarcasm but That's a good offer indeed. Then the bell rings this hour is over. I'm very grateful for this.He went out the class & stared at us & threaten
Professor: This is your last warning. We nodded as response.
There is a relief in my heart. We went inside. Everyone is chitchatting with each other.We both search for our favorite last bench. Already there is a girl sitting alone. She looks stunning & modern.Her outfit seems to be different & unique among all of us she wear a grey shots barely covering her knees and sleeveless pink top.
She chuckles & shake hands with me and mumble her name is Scarlet Forbes. She is new to India and She's from England. She looks worried about something. I'm not sure maybe she's nervous.
Moni: I bend towards her and interwined her fingers with mine & mutter We are here for you. We three can be a good friends. Don't worry about being in new city Scar. I patted her back as assurence. She give us a toothy smile.
The day went well. It's all about Self-introduction. Sam & Me ride back to my home.
Moni: Scar is funny & open-minded. She chuckles.
Moni: We're gonna be three. I do a happy dance
Sam: You're blabbering & excited like a newly married couple. She smirked & raise her eyebrow.
Moni : It's a joke Sam you wanna laugh You are annoying me with your threatening glance. I shrugged my shoulders.
Sam: Whatever bye moni catch you tomorrow. In case you are also late tomorrow. I will drag you to the college even I don't care if you are half naked". So mind it. She set her mouth in thin line like a warning. I looks away & burst out laughing.
