Moving In S2Pt11 - It Was Unintentional!

We all talked for a few more minutes, then we got called back in. It was time for Parker to go on the stand.

*time skip*

L1: Mr Scott, you were driving that night.
P: Yes, I was.
L1: Did you know who was in the car ahead of you?
P: Ye-No- Maybe.
L1: That is not an answer. Did you know who was in the car ahead of you, Mr Scott?
P: Yes, I did.
L1: Why would you deny that?
P: It makes me look more guilty to admit that I knew.
L1: And are you guilty? Did you intentionally hurt my clients?
P: No.
L1: You did not intentionally hurt my clients?
P: No. I would never hurt, Y/n.

L1: Yet, you did.
P: It was unintentional!
L1: Then, let me rephrase.
P: Ok.
L1: Did you mean to hit their vehicle?
P: Uhhhmm...
L1: I need an answer Mr Scott.
P: It's more complicated than that.
L1: Care to explain?
P: I didn't intentionally hurt them. I was just mad. Kayla had been t- Never mind. Y/n rejected me again. She always chose Jax over me. Then, she got this new guy and then she said she pitied me for being under Jax's shadow. I don't want pity!! I just want her to love me. I just want Jax to love me. Why do they never love me?

L1: Is that why you confided in Ms Murphy? Because Ms Y/l/n pitied you and Mr Parker didn't love you?
P: Yea, I guess so. We just had a lot in common.
L1: Can you provide an example of what the two of you had in common?
P: We went to high school together and we both wanted some reassurance from Jax.
L1: Reassurance about what?
P: That he cared about us. He's my best friend and he got her pregnant. It's valid for both of us to want more from him than what we're getting.
L1: How would you get what you want from Mr Parker through hurting Ms Y/l/n and Mr Hacker?
P: Jax still loves her, so obviously he hates... Mr Hacker, or whatever you called him.
L1: So, I think I understand the motive behind hurting him. You wanted to do something that Mr Parker might appreciate. But, I still don't understand why you would hurt her. Was she just collateral damage? Or did you intend to injure her?

P: No! I didn't want her to get hurt.
L1: So, she was collateral?
P: No. I said, I didn't want her to get hurt.
L1: So, you're implying that this was up to Ms Murphy?
P: Maybe.
L1: That's not a sufficient answer.
P: Honestly, I didn't mean for any of this to happen. Was I mad that she rejected me because she was was with another guy again, yea, I was. Did I automatically not like that she clearly liked him more than me again, sure, I did. Would I be mad if he was out of the picture, not at all. But, I didn't intend for anyone to actually get hurt.
L1: So, you did mean to hit their car?

I know he did. I just don't think he's going to admit to it. He wouldn't throw himself under the bus like that. The whole point is that he wants us to like him. Maybe he didn't realize that this would actually do that opposite of that, but he's always been a bit dense.

I feel kinda bad for him. He's been overlooked and used his entire life. I know for a fact that this was Kayla's idea. Parker really is not the violent type. She, on the other hand, definitely is.

He may be stupid, but he's pretty funny and actually a really attractive guy. It's sad that he's been treated so badly, but it's not my responsibility to fix him. I just hope he finds someone, obviously other than Kayla, that he clicks with.

Don't get me wrong, though. I'm still mad that he hit me with a fucking car on the highway. That was not a very honorable moment for him. I'm not gonna say I understand it either, because I really don't. I don't understand his thought process and how this could have possibly worked in his favor. But, he just needs some therapy and maybe some weed too.

Now, back to the trial.

P: Yes, I did mean to hit them. However, it was supposed to be a tap. Kayla yelled at me and distracted me, then she steered the car right into them. I got too close and we were going too fast, but she made us hit their blind spot.
L1: So, you were driving, but Ms Murphy steered you into a weak spot in their vehicle.
P: Yes. I didn't even want them to go to the hospital. I just wanted to have a reason to call Jax. I came here to visit him and he blew me off. So, I wanted his attention.
