Will's POV:

☀ ☾ ☀ ☾ ☀ ☾ ☀ ☾ ☀ ☾ ☀ ☾

The beach is the best place for all of us demigods and legacies to hang out. We loved being at camp for the summer, but most of us moved on. Nico and I still live in New York. Most of the seven and Reyna still live at Camp Jupiter. We see them quite a few times a year. We usually see them at the barbecue we have each year.

Rachel also come to be with us for the barbecue this year. She doesn't usually come since she is a successful artist and rarely has time for things like this. Thalia came this year since she was in town for some hunt she was doing.

Nico wanted to spend more time with them because we have been thinking about moving to California. I wanted Nico to be happy especially since his life has not been easy. I didn't have a bad life, but I knew my father was gone. That he was too busy being a god and that was more important than me. If anything lots of demigods had it worse.

Nico had it way worse. Loosing his mother and then his sister. Plus his crush was the one person he couldn't have. That was hard. I knew it was hard because I had a crush on Percy. Everyone did at some point.

I got over him during the second Titian war when Nico showed up aided by three gods. It was the hottest thing I had ever seen. I realized you don't have to be the most powerful to make a difference.

Nico didn't gain from turning the tide of the war because he would disappear again. That's what I looked for in a partner. I looked for someone who did things from the kindness of their heart. That was Nico and still is Nico to this day.

"Hey Neeks, will you come over here for a second?" I asked.

"Yes. Just give me a minute" He replied.

He had been taking Sammy, Leo and Calypso's 6 year old son, for a ride on his back. Annabeth was sitting with Piper, Hazel, Calypso, Sally, and Rachel. She was watching her sons play with Nico. She would be sitting with them except her five month baby bump prevented her from doing that.

It was August and we were celebrating Percy's birthday a little early. This party was annual and always made Nico feel better. He's my husband, so I would do anything to help him. He would always help me, especially on a day like today. Michael died on this day.

Nico hadn't brought up anything and I felt bad. He didn't remember that I lost a great friend and a brother.

I turned back to Nico and the kids gathered around him. Arielle, Annabeth and Percy's oldest child, is 12 years old. Arielle was in the water with Percy and most of the other guys except for Frank who was cooking.

Logan, Percy and Annabeth's son, is 3 years old and he loves Uncle Nico. Luke, their other son, is 6 years old and he also loves Nico. Nico was struggling to get the kids off of him.

He said that he needed to talk to me. He knelt next to Logan and reassured him that they would play later.

"I just wanted to ask a question," I said, wringing my hands a little bit.

"Okay. What is it?" Nico asked.

"Do you want to have kids?" I blurted out, my face burning.

I really wanted kids. I had even prayed to my father about giving us a little demigod or a few that we could take care of. I could see both of us with a few kids. We can give them the life we always wanted. We can give them all that they ever wanted.

"Oh...uh...maybe. We have barely been married for a year. I do like being with kids, but I don't think I will be a good parent. I would probably fail," Nico said, looking down at the sand.
