𝙔/𝙉: "I wonder where your cold wandered off to."

Venti grinned.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Who knows!"

The bard stood up to leave the apartment,

𝙔/𝙉: "Hey! I took care of you while you were sick, now return the favor!"

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞:"Calm down I was kidding Ehe~!"

I gave Venti an annoyed look.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Oh come on Y/N."

You stick out your tongue at the bard before closing your eyes.

𝙔/𝙉: "Is this how you felt when you had a cold?"

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Nope, beacuse I recieved a magical hug!"

𝙔/𝙉: "Venti don't be silly, hugs can't cure you."

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "No! look!"

The bard gave me a big hug.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "You feel better now dont you?"

𝙔/𝙉: "No, I just feel like I'm getting squeezed by two walls."

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Hmm.."

Venti let go of me and started thinking.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "I think you should just sleep then."

𝙔/𝙉:  "You know that actually sounds better than getting squeezed to death-"

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "While I hug you!"

I sighed, and laid down.

Venti took that as a 'No' and looked at the ground.

𝙔/𝙉: "Well what are you waiting for? give me a 𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙝𝙪𝙜"

The bards eyes filled with excitement.

Without hesitation he laid behind me and put his arms around me,
I refused to admit it, but this was actually pretty comfy.

I could hear the bards heart beat, which calmed me and I fell asleep rather quickly.

I'm not sure how much time has passed, but suprisingly Venti was still asleep, while I was debating wether I should stand up or try to sleep more, I didn't wan't to wake him up, his arms were still wrapped around me tight.

I decided to try and get up, which he quickly noticed.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Just a little longer.."

Venti whined.

𝙔/𝙉: "Three more minutes."

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Yay!"

♢ ✰ ♢ ✰ ☽

It was early in the morning, we actually ended up sleeping way longer then 3 minutes.
Me and Venti were currently walking around Mondstadt, discussing what to do.
Of course he wanted to have some wine as he didn't get to have any while being sick.
But I'm not letting him drink right after being sick.

I lied to myself.

𝙔/𝙉: "Why don't you play something on your lyre?"

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "I'm going to attract a whole crowd." 

I shrugged.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "It's so quiet in Mondstadt."

I nodded.

𝙔/𝙉: "You know, maybe we should go to the tavern after all."

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Alright then what are we waiting for!"

♢ ✰ ♢ ✰ ☽ 

Venti was busy drinking dandelion whine while I was having a conversation with Diluc.

𝘿𝙞𝙡𝙪𝙘: "There have been an awful lot of slimes outside of Mondstadt."

𝙔/𝙉: "Is that why Mondstadt is so quiet currently?"

𝘿𝙞𝙡𝙪𝙘: "Yes. The gaurds told people of Mondstadt to stay inside as these slimes are awfully dangerous."

𝙔/𝙉: "I see, I'm pretty sure we can handle them."

𝘿𝙞𝙡𝙪𝙘: "I'm not quite sure, these slimes are strangely powerful."

𝙔/𝙉: "Where did they even come from?"

Diluc shrugged.

𝘿𝙞𝙡𝙪𝙘: "But I doubt the gaurds can even hold them back."

He frowned.

𝙔/𝙉: "You really hate them, don't you?"

Diluc didn't respond.

I looked over to Venti who fell asleep while drinking his 11th bottle of wine.

𝙔/𝙉: "So now theres dangerous slimes outside, interesting."

𝙔/𝙉: "Well, I'll be taking this bard now."

𝘿𝙞𝙡𝙪𝙘: "Okay, stay safe."

Diluc whispered the last part to himself, but loud enough for Y/N to hear.

♢ ✰ ♢ ✰ ☽ 

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "Y/N, 𝗵𝗶𝗰 can I sleep in your bed.. it looks way more comfy then the couch..𝗵𝗶𝗰"

𝙔/𝙉: "Sure, then I'll be sleeping on the cou-"

Before I could finish my sentence, Venti grabbed my face and turned it towards his.

𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞: "I was indirectly 𝗵𝗶𝗰
trying to ask If I can 𝗵𝗶𝗰 sleep with you."

Geez he's so bold when he's drunk..

I felt my cheeks heat up, but I did sleep with him on a couch so it shouldn't be any different right? he surely won't try anything hes too sweet for that.

𝙔/𝙉: "Ahh.. sure, can you let go of my face now?"

I mumbled.

Venti nodded while he stumbled into my room.
I placed my hands on my cheeks, they were still pretty heated up.

I followed the bard into my room before he would try to destroy something.

𝙔/𝙉: "Okay Venti so-"

Venti was already sleeping on my bed.
I just sighed and smiled at him then I laid down next to him.

𝙔/𝙉: "Good night, tone deaf bard."

I closed my eyes.
