EPILOGUE

"Yeah, just hide from the public." He said and I nodded my head.

"I'm starving." Tony immediately said and I laughed at him.

"Where have you been all this time?" I asked as I held his hand and dragged him to the kitchen. He sat on the kitchen stool and watch me cook.

"Fury told me that he kept my body. They said that my wound is healing each day, but I showed no sign of being alive. Until, I woke up today. He told me about having dinner with you guys, and told me to make you come and see me."

"Fury?" I asked as I turned to him. He nodded his head and I grabbed my phone. He began to stand and held my phone. I looked at him and he put my phone down on the table.

"Don't call him. He knows you might call. Just not tonight." He said. I nodded my head and cooked. After cooking, I gave him his food and he ate. I watch him eat and I smiled.

"What?" He asked as he finished his food. I chuckled and smile big.

"Nothing. I really did hoped that you'll be alive and you'll stay with me. You don't know how many times I wished for you to just come knocking at the door and see me and the kids." I said.

"Well, now I'm here. We can all put this behind us and start anew. Quit SHIELD. Retire.." Tony said as he held my hands. I nodded my head at him and he leaned in to kiss me.

"I missed this. Everything about you.." I said.

"I can show you how much I missed you." Tony said as he smirked.

"Now, you're being cocky." I said as I put his dirty plate on the sink and I felt him put his arms around my waist and kissed my neck.

"Tony..." I moaned.

"Now, you're very needy." Tony teased.

"Stop teasing me and just do me!" I said and he immediately crashed his lips on mine and let's just say we had a good time tonight.

~The following day~

Tony drove us to the compound and I held his hand as he drives. I heard my phone rang and saw Rhodey calling.

"Hey, Rhodey. How's the kids?" I asked.

"They're okay. Just wondering where are you? All of us are waiting at the living room. Fury said about you telling something to us." Rhodey said.

"Yeah, I have something to tell you. Be there in 5." I ended the call and I sighed happily.

"You okay, baby?" Tony asked.

"Everything's perfect." I said. Then, he kissed my hand and I smiled at him.

~After 5 mins~

We have arrived at the compound. Me and Tony went to the elevator.

"Welcome back boss." FRIDAY said.

"Don't tell everyone that I'm here." Tony said.

"Yes boss." Then, I heard the elevator rang. I peck Tony's lips and Tony began to hide at the side. I saw everybody waiting for me and I went near them at the couch. The elevator door closed and I sighed. I make sure that everybody's back is facing the elevator when I tell them the news.

"Mommy!" I heard the kids said. They ran to me and hugged me. I hugged them back and get to kiss their heads.

"What happened mommy?" James asked.

"Why don't we take a seat and I'll tell everything." I said. They sat on the couch and everyone was looking at me. I saw Fury from the couch and he nod his head at me. I took a deep sigh and I looked at the team.

"Yesterday I have received a warning from my house. So, I went there and let the kids stay here. I took my chances about something with burglar or something. So, I went there and something happened." I said.

"What?" They all asked except for Fury and Hill. Then, I saw the elevator door opened and saw Tony walking softly.

"Behind you." I said to the team and they curiously looked behind them and saw their shocked and confused face.

"DADDY!!!" The kids shouted and they ran to Tony. Tony bent down so he can hugged the kids. They hugged their father tightly and I smiled big.

"Mommy, come!" Morgan said and I went to them. I kneel beside Tony and we hugged the kids.

"Daddy, you're here!" James said as we broke the hug. Tony and I stand and saw Tony carried James and Morgan. I carried Tal in my arms and I looked at my family.

"Yes. Thanks to mommy's powers, she healed me. I'm sorry it takes longer for daddy to come back." Tony said as he kissed Tal, James and Morgan's cheek.

"It's alright daddy." Morgan said.

"We're happy your back now. Mommy will not cry anymore." Tal said and I chuckled.

"Yes." Tony said. "I'm sorry I made your mommy cry, and I made you guys cry. But, thank you for being strong to mommy, thank you for looking at mommy and each other." Tony told his children.

"We love you so much daddy!" James said and he hugged his father again.

"I love you too guys." Tony said. Then, he put Morgan and James down. He went near Rhodey and they hugged each other.

"Don't ever scare us, again!" Rhodey said as they broke the hug.

"I won't. Cause me and Y/N will retire from being a hero. We want to focus more on the family and try to live as normal as we can." Tony said. Then, he hugged each one.

"Where's Cap?" He asked.

"He's in Brooklyn." Bucky said.

"Didn't you told him to come here?" Tony asked me.

"After what happened, Cap decided to go back to the past and try to settle, like what you told him." Sam said.

"Huh. He really did settle with his life." Tony said as he nodded his head. He went near me and held my waist.

"I hope the legacy of the Avengers still continues to save people, even if risking your own life." Tony said and I looked at him. We both smiled and he looked down and saw James and Morgan went near their father and Tony held them.

"It's time for me to put a stop." He said.

"Thank you Tony." Fury said. Tony nodded his head.

"We need to go. But, I just want to know, nobody needs to know this." Tony said. Then, everybody nodded their heads. Tony lead me and the kids to the elevator. We face the team and I smiled.

"See you soon." Tony said.

"See you guys." They said.

"Good to have you back, Tony." Rhodey said.

"Good to be back." Tony said and the elevator door closed. Me and Tony looked at each other and we kissed. We both smiled on the kiss and heard the kids cheered.
