her voice cracked as tears slipped down her cheeks 

"I just wanted to get that out and to ask for forgiveness. I know I don't deserve it, but I still live in guilt that I let the greatest thing to ever happen to me slip through my fingers" 

Hoseok was holding my hand under the table and I made sure to give it a reassuring squeeze as he thought about what to say to her in return. 

"I forgive you" he said softly "if not for you, then for me"

"If Alyssa can forgive her ex husband for an entire hidden relationship, I should be able to forgive you for a one night stand. And thank you for assuring me that I wasn't to blame"

He sighed and stared at me before looking back at Stacey
