Manage me, I'm a mess

Turn a page, I'm a book

Half unread

~I sing into my mic~

I wanna be laughed at

Laughed with, just because

~I feel nervous knowing this is going on YouTube for everyone to hear~

I wanna feel weightless

And that should be enough

~Yet I still sing flawlessly~

But I'm stuck in this fucking rut

Waiting on a second hand pick me up

And I'm over, getting older

~I cuss without thinking, I'm such an idiot~

If I could just find the time

Then I would never let another day go by

~I start loosening up geting into the music~

Maybe it's not my weekend

But it's gonna be my year

And I'm so sick of watching while the minutes pass as I go nowhere

As soon as I stop singing, Sarah barges in through our connected bathroom. "OMG!!!!! That was soooooooo good, we should go celebrate! Ooooooo with the boys too!" she screams. "Ok, one thank you, two ok, and three you just wanna spend time with Preston!" I say. "No......" she says looking down at her feet guiltily. "It's okay now you feel guilty so we can bring the boys" I say. I am immediately engulfed into a hug "YAY!!!!!!!!!!" she screams like a five year old.

*Time Skip to Starbucks Cuz Power Moves*

"So what exactly are we here to celebrate." Lachlan asks. All of us are sitting in our usual spots me next to Lachlan across from Sarah, Sarah next to Preston, and Preston across from Lachlan. "Emmafinalygotayoutubeandweorderedhersomeequipmentanditarrivedtwodaysagosowesetitup

celebratewithyouguys." she says all in one breath. The boys look at her like she is crazy.

"her exact words are 'Emma finally got a YouTube and we ordered her some equipment, and it arrived two days ago. So we set it up and she recorded her first cover, which was of Weightless by AllTimeLow so I dragged her over here to celebrate with you guys." I say actually breathing. "How did you get that from a bunch of gibberish?" asks Preston who looks kind of shocked. "When you live and have known her for your entire life you learn how to decode those things" I say sipping my PSL(Conner Franta ^~^).

"Well congrats Em" Lachlan says hugging me from the side. Me and Lachlan know that we like each other but don't do anything about it. I guess he's just waiting for the right time. I'm snapped back to reality by Preston waving his hand in front of my face. "were you listening to anything I just said?" Preston said annoyed. "Sorry no, can you repeat that?" I said. "Fine, I said congrats, I wanna hear you sing" he said.

"Sorry, I have stage fright better watch my video and subscribe" I say laughing. "Fineeeeeeeeee, what's your account?" Preston asked. Sarah replied before I could. "StarrySings, the picture is a music note." she said and sipped her coffee.

Sorry 'bout the short chapter I ran out of ideas for the day I'm coming back in the next chapter with December and Winter Formal. Maybe, just Maybe Lachlan will grow some balls and ask Emma.
