what he does to make you laugh

Enjolras:
- he makes silly faces
- whenever you are upset/sad about something, the known 'marble man' will put everything down and only focus on you before making a ridiculous face
- if it fails, which is hardly does, he adds voices
+ "y/n, don't be sad, if you sad me sad"
+ he says in either a deep voice or a high-pitched voice
+ you smile and shake your head
+ "there's my girl! come here, everything's going to be okay"
+ *insert forehead kiss*

Grantaire:
- he puts on a show
- when you are blue or there is just plain silence around you both, he will start imitating his friends.
- he will go all out. seriously. costumes, accents, setting. but only when you are home, obviously
- when you both are out, he will make a scene and add the accent
+ it was quiet and you were both bored
+ "y/n, stay here"
+ he goes into your shared bedroom and brings out the sheets from the bed. he hangs them up with curtain rings in front of the window. he then goes back into the bedroom to get a lot of clothes
+ he goes behind the curtain and quickly changes into a brown jacket and grabs an unlit cigar
+ "hello mademoiselle! how are you this fine morn- oh my god! i have spotted a germ on your face! everybody stand back, i'll handle this"
+ he then kisses your lips
+ "the germ is go- no wait. there's another germ, and another, and another. this calls for us to make out- i mean bring out the alcohol! for disinfecting-"
+ "just come here Grantaire"
+ you first make out, then drink some wine

Courfeyrac:
- he embarrasses himself
- whenever you are upset/sad, he will tell you embarrassing stories from his past to make you laugh
- he has a lot of them
- he holds you close to his chest as he speaks
+ "when i was, i think, eight. eight? yes, eight. i had decided to play in the mud with some friends. when i had come that night, i was covered in mud and bugs and boy were my parents upset. i had bathed and gone to bed, to add to this embarrassing story, i slept in the same bed as my parents until i was twelve out of fear of being eaten by the clothes in my closet. but anyways, i must not have bathed well enough because when we all woke up, a worm was found in my father's trousers."
+ "oh my gosh."
+ "yay, you're smiling again! i like seeing you happy."
+ *insert forehead kiss*

Jehan:
- he becomes very random
- he always tries to distract you from your misery by saying/asking the most random things
+ "do think i could have been a shrimp in my past life?"
+ "w-what are you going on about?" you ask with a chuckle
+ "maybe a cockroach? somebody probably stepped on me"

Combferre:
- he will cook you something, well at least try to
- Combferre couldn't cook something if his life depended on it, which makes it funny
- he'll always manage to burn something or set something on fire
- he sets himself up for disaster
+ "hello my- what's wrong?!"
+ "it's nothing."
+ "sure. hold on."
+ he goes into the kitchen and begins to place vegetables into a bowl, completely missing the bowl
+ "why is the bag open this way? dammit!"
+ "Comb, what did you do? oh my god, you are so clumsy" you say with a smile and shaking head as you pick up the vegetables with him

Marius:
- he'll take you out to do something romantic and memorable
- inside jokes
- much like Jehan, he wishes to distract you from your sadness
+ "alright, we are going to take a walk. come on, my love. this will clear your mind and erase that frown off of your gorgeous face"
+ he takes you on a stroll through a rose garden. the garden consisted of red, white, and pink roses and was truly romantic and memorable
+ you both stayed until after sunset and made constant jokes
+ he held your hand and rubbed his thumb over your hand as you walked around
+ he always knew how to make you laugh, he just wanted it to be in a better setting
