- you were currently in the café speaking with madame houcheloup as she cut some bread for the two of you. the boys had already gotten their share of bread and were sitting about on the barricade
- "so, how's you boyfriend?" madame asked, wavering the word 'boyfriend'
- you laugh and look down only to look back up once she places a slice of bread in front of you. "bahorel is fine and things are going really well."
- "you two took way too long to get together."
- you roll your eyes "don't remind me." you bite into your bread and smile as it begins to melt on your tongue. god you were hungry.
- "madame, you don't mind if i send some to bahorel, do you?"
- she shakes her head and takes another bite of her own slice
- you take a slice from behind the bar and call gavroche inside the café
- "gav, can you give this to bahorel?"
- "what do i get?"
- "um, bread?"
- he shakes his head "that's garbage. i want a kiss."
- you open your mouth to say something but then close it and sigh. "fine. you get your prize once you do as i have asked, okay?"
- he excitedly nods his head and runs to bahorel to deliver him his bread
- "bahorel?"
- "yeah." he mumbles before taking a sip of his wine
- "this is from Y/n." the little boy hands the man the bread
- bahorel smiles down at the bread and looks around for you and finds you in the café. you lock eyes and he smiles at you
- you send him a wink before turning back to madame
- he laughs and takes a bite of his bread
- "i'm gonna go get me a kiss." gavroche chirps before beginning to step down the barricade
- bahorel's eyes follows the blond with furrowed eyebrows and he spits out his bread when gavroche puckers his lips in front of your face
- "GAVROCHE! SHE'S MINE! WE'VE BEEN OVER THIS! GAVROCHE!"
