- combeferre insisted that he take you dress shopping
- you came out of the dressing room in a low neck cut blue dress that you had chosen to highlight your hair
- "wow"
- "oh sweet my combeferre, please close your mouth. we wouldn't want you catching flies now would we?" you tease as you inspect yourself in the mirror
- he comes up behind you and wraps his arms around you. he looks into the mirror with you as he speaks. "you picked a good one"
- "i know"
- he smiles and roll his eyes before releasing you. you turn to face him and place your hands on your hips. "after i purchase this-"
- "you mean me"
- "um no. you are not paying for another one of my dresses"
- "but i demanded that we go dress shopping"
- "yup. you came up with the idea, so you have done your part. i will handle the rest and that means paying for the dress"
- "fine" he says unconvincingly
- you laugh and sharply exhale "so after the dress shop maybe we should go to the café. what do you say?"
- he mumbles an agreement, but his eyes don't remain on yours, they remain on the tops of your visible breasts (i'm thinking of the live action cinderella dresses)
- "combferre, my eyes are up here" you say after flicking his forehead
- his head snaps up and he shakes his head. "sorry"

- you cross your arms and tilt your head at him in annoyance

- you roll your eyes and step back into the dressing room to change out of the distracting dress
