Matt: Morning, beautiful.
Anah: Four red roses in four days. You're taking this wooing thing far too seriously.
Matt: But you're worth it. A million times over.
Anah: I know.
Matt: And you say I'm the one with the ego.
Anah: It's a trait I've inherited from my boyfriend.
Matt: Touché.
Anah: So, will I get a rose tomorrow? It's Saturday and there's no school.
Matt: Yes, you get a rose tomorrow. And Sunday, too, before you ask.
Anah: Can't wait. What are your plans for the weekend?
Matt: Not much. Some friends are coming over tomorrow and I'm baby sitting Grace on Sunday. And I've got to find some time to decorate and choose a song for our first dance.
Anah: Song? Do I get a say in the choice?
Matt: No.
Anah: No? That simple? Just... no?
Matt: That simple. No.
Anah: What?! Why?!
Matt: You got your way about not dancing the Waltz, so I get to decide on the song.
Anah: What if I hate the song?
Matt: You won't.
Anah: I might.
Matt: You won't. I promise.
Matt: What are you doing this weekend?
Anah: I'm going on of town.
Matt: To where? And with who?
Anah: To see my brother.
Matt: Why are you going to see him? Won't he be home at the end of next week?
Anah: For my birthday Noah bought tickets to see a band. They're playing this weekend.
Matt: Cool. What band?
Anah: Walk The Moon.
Matt: I hate you.
Anah: Um... why?
Matt: I love Walk the Moon!
Anah: Me too.
Matt: I can't believe you're going to see them live. My life sucks.
Anah: I'll trade you Walk The Moon for the right to choose our song.
Matt: Tempting. But 'd rather not spend the weekend with your brother. I might never come back.
Anah: You'll come back. Just maybe not in one piece.
Matt: Comforting.
Anah: Can I put a song request in?
Matt: You can, but I won't take it seriously.
Anah: I hate you.
Matt: Haha... no you don't. You love me.
Anah: I hate you.
Matt: That's a synonym for 'I love you,' right? ;)
Anah: No. I hate you means that I hate you.
Matt: Fine... what's your song request and I'll put it on the list.
Anah: Anything by Ray LaMontagne.
Matt: He's on the list already.
Anah: He is?
Matt: Yep... Mountain Guy.
Anah: His name is LaMontagne.
Matt: But it's shorter to say Mountain.
Anah: *eye roll*
Matt: Love you, Penguin.
Anah: Love you too, Honey Bun.
