Anah: Good morning.
Unknown number: Miss me much?
Anah: Yes.
Unknown number: Really?
Anah: YES!
Unknown number: By the way, yesterday was not our one month anniversary.
Anah: Hate to break it to you, but it kinda was.
Unknown number: It wasn’t. Our month anniversary is Monday.
Anah: What? No… it was yesterday.
Unknown number: It’s Monday. It was the day I messaged you for the first time… you, and not some stupid Agony Aunt android on the other side of the computer screen.
Anah: Android?
Unknown number: I just meant, the first text was more meaningful than that first e-mail. And that’s why Monday is our anniversary, and not yesterday.
Anah: You’ve thought about this way too much.
Unknown number: Well, you’re all I think about, so yeah. I have.
Anah: I did miss you, you know.
Unknown number: I should hope so.
Unknown number: And to answer your question from yesterday- the reason it’s important for me to text you first is because, when I wake up you’re the first thing that’s on my mind.
Anah: Have you ever considered that when I wake up, you’re the first thing on my mind too?
Unknown number: Am I?
Anah: These messages… talking with you… it’s the highlight of my day.
Unknown number: Well, aren’t you a little whipped!
Anah: Jerk.
Unknown number: Haha. That’s a new name.
Anah: Kinda suits you.
