Matt: Afternoon, beautiful.
Anah: Hey, where have you been? I was starting to get worried.
Matt: I’ve been in classes all day. Now that school’s out, I can finally message you!
Anah: Yeah, but being in class doesn’t usually stop you.
Matt: I was trying to be a good student today.
Anah: And why just today?
Matt: My mom made some threats.
Anah: Scared of your mom?
Matt: I’m more scared of my mom than I am of cats. And I am deathly scared of cats!
Anah: Oh, God. You’re making me scared of your mom!
Matt: My mom loves you… she hates me.
Anah: Don’t be so dramatic. I’m sure she doesn’t hate you.
Matt: She threatened to ground me if I didn’t pass my test today.
Anah: That’s kinda funny.
Matt: I’d be grounded until the New Year.
Matt: That means I’d have to miss Winter Ball.
Anah: YOU HAD BETTER PASS THAT DAMN TEST, MATTHEW!
Matt: Ironically, that’s what my mom said, too.
Anah: I like you mom.
Matt: I don’t. I actually had to cram for the test!
Anah: What was the test on?
Matt: Shakespeare’s Sonnet 18.
Anah: It can’t have been that bad.
Matt: Believe me, it was. I had to learn the whole thing word for word.
Matt: But, I did it for you.
Anah: *eye roll* My hero.
Matt: Damn straight I am.
Matt: At least Cinderella still gets to go to the Ball.
Anah: Have you been dressing up as Disney Princesses again? You swore it was only the once… and I’m pretty sure you were Belle.
Matt: I was referring to you when I said ‘Cinderella.’
Matt: And it was only the once!
Anah: Haha… this is too easy.
Matt: You can’t see the death glare I’m giving you.
Anah: Oh, I’m so scared!
Matt: I could just stop messaging you again, you know.
Anah: You barely made it over 24 hours last time… these are just empty threats now.
Matt: I could do it, you know!
Anah: Then go ahead. I won’t stop you.
Matt: Ah, who am I trying to kid?! I’d fail in five minutes.
Anah: Five seconds.
Matt: Yeah, that seems a little more realistic.
Anah: Haha. What are you doing tonight?
Matt: Hanging out with some buddies… better make an effort seeing as I haven’t hung out with them in weeks.
Matt: What about you?
